Minimalism is the pursuit of pure, unadorned artistic effects and attitudes towards life, and DOWN TO EARTH is the optimal interpretation of minimalism, which means the simplest design form, the most basic construction method, and the most reasonable design means to achieve the most intimate artistic effects and usage experience. The design uses the smallest space to create a house that is suitable for only one person to live in self-sufficiently. The design challenges the limit of the smallest space for human living and proposes a reflection on what living space means to human beings, so that the occupants can leave all the complications behind and pay more attention to the relationship between human beings and nature and their inner voices, returning to their true nature. In this design, the exploration of architectural practices, materials and the experience of using the space makes the design a sustainable, one-person minimalist house that can be used in almost any site.
