Editor's Note Most people do not understand that Christianity is not going to church. It is more than the buildings we go to or praying in tongues. It's a lifestyle. It is a lifestyle because of how you carry yourself matters, what you say matters and how you dress matters. Knowing who your father in Heaven is, you would want to represent Him very well by how you look. When ever you about to leave the house look at your self in a mirror and ask yourself if you met God would He be impressed with how you are dressed, would you be able to worship Him without showing you waist flesh or butt crack.Lets dress to impress not to destruct. We have a new look to the magazine feel free to give us feedback while opening up your mind to the articles of this month. I want you to believe that there is nothing that God cannot do for you.The secret is to believe you deserve it because God has already made it available for you. You just need to claim it!

LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND GOD LOVES YOU FOREVER. MALEBOGO LEPERE 03

Modesty in Christ What does modesty mean for a Christian? Is it the way we dress, behave, talk, associate or present ourselves in front of people or when alone? Is it reasonable to assume that a person can carry themselves differently in one circumstance that the other or it has to be a way of life? This is a very thoughtprovoking word to discuss in today’s way of life because many answers can be derived from the three questions above and it is highly unlikely that any one response could satisfactorily address all three. However, as difficult as it may be for us as human beings to truly comprehend what modesty entails, it is comforting to note that God has a clear-cut answer for us. In 1st Peter 3:3-5(NKJV) a very beautiful picture of what God expects from His children is painted. It is interesting to learn that appreciation for beauty in humankind existed many years ago and continue to exist even today. Peter highlights the fact that the most important thing is beauty of the inner person and states thus; “Do not let your adornment be merely outward, arranging the hair, wearing gold or putting on fine apparel. Rather, let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands”. When we look at how the world has evolved from the olden times when Peter wrote this scripture to date, we can only imagine that there must have been very little that a person could do to make themselves look beautiful, in comparison to a wide array of apparels, cosmetics, medical procedures, etc. being put before us as a choice to select from to make us look beautiful and modest.

"We must be clothed with majesty inside out to qualify for modesty in Christ." People nowadays go to all lengths to make themselves look beautiful, people want to transform themselves to look something that God did not create, many people are obsessed with the idea of beauty that they are dissatisfied with God’s creation. In our churches and places of worship today we come across people wanting to impress the church leaders with their looks, their expensive wear and class that at the end of the day, people lose the very meaning of going to church. These end up stirring up conflicts, hatred, living in disguise, and competition amongst members of the same church or community. This then leads us to the second part of our scripture above, which talks about the inner person. The scripture tells us that having a gentle and quiet spirit is precious in the eyes of God. We must be clothed with majesty inside out to qualify for modesty in Christ. God wants us to align ourselves to his divine principles in order to make a meaningful impact in our societies. Emphasis on this is provided in Matthew 5:5-10 (NKJV) which states thus; “blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”.

Modesty in Christ

My observation of this scripture says a lot about what is expected from the inner person; a kind heart, a humble and contrite spirit, a righteous person e.t.c. these are the qualities most expected from human kind and if the majority of the people could have these traits the world would be a better place. In short, being modest should not be shown only by outer beauty but it should start from within, we should be able to accommodate fellow human beings and be able to put ourselves in others’ shoes so as to build strong support structures, first in our families then our communities and spill over to the entire nation regardless of one’ spirituality and believe because we are one in Christ. Our country is currently going through very tough times where we are experiencing an alarming increase in cases of child abuse, rape and all sorts of gender based violence.

If as a people, individually and collectively, we could take guidance from the scriptures above and implore the Spirit of the living God to dwell in us always, we would see each other as a true image of God and we would allow the Spirit of God to work in us to always keep us in check of what is right and wrong before God as we would jealously guard against hurting each other and we will be considerate of the next person, we would develop the personality to protect one another and we would strive to ensure that undesirable elements and behaviors are uprooted from our societies in the most acceptable manner. The Bible edges us to be “our brothers’ keepers” and this is the time for us to exercise this instruction, to worry about the next person and to live together with empathy. If we could develop the inner person and influence those around us positively, we would be duty bound to ensure that the other person is ok physically emotionally or otherwise and be ready to offer a helping hand, protection or support of any kind. This would lead to humanity living a dignified life, full of respect and confidence therefore, exhibiting a modest everyday life.

"...being modest should not be shown only by outer beauty but it should start from within..." END

How was your childhood like? I was raised by both my loving christian parents in the land of Zimbabwe Bulawayo, with one elder sister. Born and grounded in the word of God. My dad was a soldier, as such I grew up in a military camp. 3. Did you know you were going to be this influential? (what do you do) Well to some extent I did, from a young age I was always a leader of the scripture Union at school, Ioving God as a youth raised in the AFM Church Public speaking at school has always been my thing as well, which I believe has actually helped groom my eloquence in speech.

4. What makes you a Kingdom Shaker? KINGDOM SHAKER 7. What have you seen God do that blew your mind away, in terms of miracles? God used me to open the eyes of a blind woman, who had never seen for all her life, this was the greatest testimony that brought many to God through my ministry, everyone in the streets of that location knew the blind woman and her sight being restored gave them a shock and they believed that indeed God is working through me. Actually when I started my ministry, I was still working for a certain insurance company, and when God showed me that I needed to be full time in ministry, I shared this with my parents and my mum did not take well the idea of her son being jobless, so much she kicked me out of her house to try and make me desperate and get back to work, but I continued with the work of God. My parents then began to hear of how God is healing and delivering people through my ministry, that is when they came back, apologized and fully supported me, until now, my parents are one of the main pillars of the ministry. Note this, my mum did not kick me out because she did not believe I was called, that she knew very well as I prayed for her when I was still at school, she had gout problems and after 1 prayer I made for her, God instantly healed her forever. To her as a parent, she felt I cannot waste all my years of school to just decide to quit working. 8. Any message to fellow kingdom shakers? Sons and daughters of God, let's keep the work of our father moving, let's fill up heaven and empty hell. Let's hold on to the word of God, let's work together and build this kingdom of God.

FITNESS FITNESS

Benefits of strong muscles

Muscles are soft tissues that attach to the skeletal system via tendons providing stability, in other words they protect the bones. They are also responsible for movement. As you embark on your fitness journey, it is important to build strong muscles to protect your bones and consequently avoid injuries. Some of these injuries could be chronic or life threatening. When you exercise, you put your muscles under stress creating micro tears, and during recovery, post workout, the muscles repair. During this process, more tissue is added to the damaged area making muscles bigger and stronger. Therefore, repeated exercise and rest results in muscle growth. Other than avoiding injuries, there are a number of benefits of building strong muscles, however we shall only focus on four (4). 1. Muscles play a very big role in our daily activities therefore, having strong muscles helps to reduce stress and fatigue when doing daily chores. Daily task involves contraction of muscles and therefore building muscles allow one to carry out these daily tasks without being exhausted. Repeatedly, you hear many people complain about lower back pain from picking an item from the floor; weak muscles mostly cause this.

2. Another benefit of having strong muscles is that they improve performance in physical activities such as excising or playing sport. One is able to perform better and for a longer time than a person who has weaker muscles. As you continue with your fitness journey you will eventually come to realise that when you started, you could only exercise for a short period, but as time goes on, you will be able to exercise for a longer period because you are getting stronger.

3. When you have more muscles mass, it takes more energy for your cardiac system to support it and this in turn increases your fat burning during sedentary periods. 4. Lastly, we all know how good looking a well defined toned body is. So apart from the health benefits of growing muscles, you will be rewarded with a hot ‘’summer body’’ or ‘’bikini body’’ (for ladies) which everyone is constantly in pursuit of. I cannot emphasize enough the need to build strong healthy muscles. Women, please do not shy away from strength training to build muscles. Forget the misconceptions that you heard about having defined muscles because, weak muscles causes fatigue and injuries. Hit the gym today to get those gains.

HEALTH High heels can affect your health

M

ost ladies enjoy rocking high heels, whether it's to the office or during social outings such as a night out on the town or even when going shopping. In fact, sporting heels that are two, three, or four inches tall (or even higher) is a common practice for countless women today, and many women want to wear them as much as possible because it makes them feel like a real lady. Not only do heel-wearers enjoy the benefits of being taller and even appearing slimmer, but heels have also been known to spice up any humdrum outfit and give an entire look that extra kick that many women crave. However, before putting on high heels next time, keep in mind that your body ends up suffering as a result. The human foot is a highly specialized anatomical feature that helps in transmitting weight from the head to the ground during standing, walking and jogging; maintain equilibrium of posture while standing, walking and jogging; and assist in ambulation– Ambulation is moving from one place to another place.

Heels put unnecessary pressure on your spine, back, and knees, and constantly wearing heels can take a major toll on the muscles in your calves. Further, the higher your heel, the more unnecessary force and weight is being placed on the balls of your feet, as they're literally left carrying the brunt of your body mass. There are also the added risks of tripping, falling, and rolling your ankles when you're wearing heels, and sometimes these little missteps and tumbles can have dire consequences. With this in mind, it's important to do yourself a favor by staying grounded and opting for flats whenever possible. Some of the health challenges one can suffer from due to prolonged wearing of high heels are: foot aches, development of cones, ankle discomfort, aches along the forefoot (shinsplints), knee pain, hip pain, low backache, mid-back pain, neck pain and tension headaches.

Monthly devotional Not Just "Flesh & Blood" 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body In the 21st century we live a life where everything has a price tag. The shoe you're wearing, your car, the food you had for breakfast... The list goes on. It is common to be evaluated based on what people see you wearing or maybe the car you drive, if you have one. What we have or don't have has prominently become the measure of what we are worth. The saying, "Beauty is within" has been turned upside-down to be a go-to phrase for people who feel they're too holy or do not have what it takes to compete with Gucci belts and Louis Vuitton hand-bags. The above paragraph brings about several questions to Christians. Firstly, it wants us to deal with the misconception regarding our worth as human. If you want to know your price tag then look to Jesus Christ. In the gruesome yet romantic death of Jesus Christ we have been redeemed. Gruesome because of the extent to which God was willing to go for us by sacrificing his only son. Romantic because love is an active display of affection and God went overboard to deliver us from sin in the process. Now would be a good time take a glance at our scripture for this month. It talks about your body in a majestic sense. You body is a temple where the Holy spirit resides. God saw it fit to have each of us a spirit man who can help us discern and understand when God speaks to us. Your body is more than just flesh and blood. It is a pristine place of residence for the Holy Spirit. This means it should matter more to you what you feed your spirit than the shoe that you wear. When people are 'enjoying their youth' recklessly and neglecting the wellness of their bodies, be the exception. Today you are not being taught how to neglect the way you look outwardly or focusing only on the inside of you. This presentation is for you to know that there is a balance that needs to be struck. In striking such a difficult but important balance you need the guidance of God. His word contains all you need to know to be a clean vessel of the Lord's spirit and still slay on weekdays to work. Looking good is not a substitute to being conscious of the holiness of your body as God's temple. If you could just remind yourself each day that you are a Holy Temple, then you will not have trouble keeping the balance i've been rambling about in this section. In conclusion, remember that your price for redemption is Jesus Christ and he wants nothing more than to see you handling yourself modestly. Not out of obligation, but an understanding that you are a Holy Temple of the Lord.
