CITY LIFE K.I.X.

City Life KIX is a community-based ministry that provides all-inclusive, after-school services for urban youth from first grade through High School. We provide these services in the underserved neighborhoods of West Homestead, Goulds & North Miami. KIX provides a safe place for youth to learn & grow in the Gospel. “Doing life” & empowering youth to change their community for Christ is key to our mission. We want to reach a critical mass of indigenous leaders who stay in, give back to, and transform their neighborhoods through relational, holistic, and community-based ministry.

What City Life Needs: Volunteers to engage in mentoring relationships, help with homework, tutor in math or reading ages 618, lead small groups, teach a special skill, lead financial literacy classes, play sports/games with students, provide foodfor Friday Night Live programs and serve food with a small group, help with building repairs, maintenance, special community or

JUVENILE JUSTICE MINISTRIES

Juvenile Justice Ministries are for youth living in residential facilities in Dade and Broward that have been abandoned, abused, and arrested. JJM partners with Miami Youth Academy, AMI, and the Miami Dade Police Department by providing bi-weekly sessions and events to bring a message of hope to justice-involved youth.

What JJM Needs: Volunteers to engage in mentoring relationships in-and-outside facilities. Volunteers willing to listen and love youth from difficult situations.

CAMPUS LIFE

Campus Life is a program that combines healthy peer-to-peer relationships with creative programs to help middle & high school students make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and equip them to positively impact the world around them. This program meets on campuses in the neighborhoods of North Miami, Liberty City, Miami Springs, Westchester, South Miami, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Princeton, Homestead, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, and Lauderhill.

What Campus Life Needs: Volunteers who can meet with students during and after school; volunteers who can listen well and mentor teens who don’t know Jesus.

CLOUD LIFE

Online is where many of our youth spend most of their time. Cloud Life serves youth all day, every day, through interactive events, video calls, general chats, and friendly competitions. Cloud Life uses “Discord” as a platform to stay connected with the students and run its weekly programs.

What Cloud Life Needs: Volunteers who are willing to learn Discord if they do not have prior experience and can engage in conversation with students around niche topics as it later opens opportunities for Gospel-sharing talks

CATALYST

Catalyst Hip-Hop was founded in 2001 to positively impact at-risk youth involved in the four elements of the Hip-Hop culture: break-dancing, rapping, music, graffiti art, and DJ’ing.

What Catalyst Needs: Volunteers who are solid in their faith, authentic in their lifestyle, and who are willing to learn about and/or be involved in the hip-hop scene.

OFFICE MINISTRY

Our office staff provide support in all areas of the ministry. They volunteer at ministry sites, make copies of Bible studies, call repairmen, assist with event planning, update insurance information, apply for grants, and complete other tasks for each outreach.

What our office needs: people with all levels of office experience! Bookkeepers, envelope-stuffers, systems-minded people who can independently complete office tasks; copy editors & grant writers/advisors; anyone with HR or legal experience to consult on policy issues; anyone interested in praying for our ministries.
