As the Visionary of "Triumphant," my journey reflects the transformative power of storytelling and the resilience of the human spirit Titled "Creating a Narrative of Triumph," my chapter delves into my personal struggles with social anxiety and self-doubt, and how I transcended these challenges to find my voice and share my story with others
My journey from a shy, anxious individual to a confident speaker and mentor inspired me to share my story in "Triumphant." In my chapter, I recount the obstacles I faced and the tools I used to overcome them. By intertwining themes of triumph and personal discovery, I aim to empower readers to confront their fears and rewrite their narratives.
Sharing my chapter in "Triumphant" continues my mission to empower others to embrace their own narratives and overcome adversity By embracing the themes of triumph and personal discovery, I aim to inspire readers to confront their fears, rewrite their narratives, and unlock their potential for greatness
"Triumphant" represents more than just a book, it's a movement that celebrates the human experience and the power of resilience. Through stories of triumph and transformation, we invite readers to embark on their own journey of selfdiscovery and personal growth, knowing that they too have the power to rewrite their narratives and create a life of purpose and fulfillment.
As the founder of Where Words Breathe, a company that mentors storytellers in finding their voice and refining their stories, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals explore their passions, clarify their visions, and overcome barriers to success Through personalized mentoring sessions, I guide clients in tapping into their inner motivation and finding their unique voices.
Expanding on the journey of personal transformation and empowerment, I often find myself reflecting on the countless individuals I've had the privilege to mentor through Where Words Breathe. Each session is a testament to the potential within us all to overcome obstacles and embrace our true selves
In these mentoring sessions, I witness the transformative power of storytelling firsthand As clients delve into their passions and dreams, they uncover layers of self-discovery and resilience they never knew existed Together, we navigate the terrain of self-doubt and limiting beliefs, replacing them with a sense of clarity and purpose. Through this process, individuals find their voices and gain the confidence to share their stories with the world.
The premise of my chapter in "Triumphant" is rooted in this journey of personal empowerment By sharing my own struggles and triumphs, I hope to inspire others to confront their fears and embrace their unique narratives. Whether it's overcoming social anxiety or pursuing a longheld dream, I believe that each of us has the power to rewrite our stories and create lives filled with meaning and fulfillment.
What inspired me to share my chapter in "Triumphant" was the desire to amplify this message of hope and resilience In a world often plagued by doubt and uncertainty, I wanted to offer readers a beacon of light, a reminder that no matter the obstacles we face, we possess the inner strength to triumph I hope that by sharing my story, I can ignite a spark of inspiration in others and empower them to embark on their own journeys of self-discovery and personal growth.
In essence, "Triumphant" represents a collective celebration of the human spirit, a testament to the power of resilience, perseverance, and the indomitable will to overcome. Through our shared stories, we offer readers a glimpse into the transformative potential that lies within each of us As we continue to navigate the ups and downs of life's journey, may we always remember that within every challenge lies an opportunity for triumph

What was I willing to let go of in exchange for a healthier relationship? That is the question I had to answer for myself and is the premise of the chapter I wrote for Triumphant. I had a lifetime of unhealthy relationship patterns to unlearn. The way I integrated my earliest relationship experiences led to a fundamental belief that I was not lovable. This unlovability story was so deeply anchored and felt so true, that it affected all aspects of my life beyond just how I showed up in my interactions with others It extended to how I approached my work, my relationship with money, and how I showed up in my entrepreneurship endeavors
Connected to my unlovability narrative were deeply embedded shame and a pervasive mindset of lack. I never had enough of anything: love, joy, fun, or money. Even in the good moments, something always seemed to be missing. Recent life experiences and losses added to the shame. I had to shut down multiple business initiatives and endure toxic work environments and toxic relationships. I lost friends, all my money, and even my home. I also lost my dignity and my very identity. Everything I thought to be true about myself and my life was called into question I hit some pretty deep, dark low points over the course of three years
The chapter I wrote for Triumphant explores how instrumental my personal relationships wereespecially the most challenging ones - in helping
me increase my self-awareness, heal myself, and grow into a calling that had been placed on my heart. I had received guidance that my purpose is to love and I was repeatedly invited to embody love, spread love, and build my business around love I declined this invitation for a very long time because I didn’t believe I could fulfill this calling My response was: “You’ve got the wrong person ”
I didn’t feel like a loving person I was bitter and angry after a lifetime of hurts, betrayals, and relational disappointments. Life hadn’t been all that kind to me and every relationship I ever had ended in a betrayal of some sort. I was betrayed often and I betrayed others, too. But the biggest impediment to following my calling was the fact that I had betrayed myself too many times. A new story was spinning: I didn’t actually deserve love or the other good things of life and each bad thing that happened was proof that I was being punished for all the things I had done wrong
An important part of my path has been the learning and practicing of forgiveness Not only did I need to learn to forgive others’ betrayals, I had to grapple with the idea of what it meant to
forgive myself Until I let go of my harmful selfpunishing mindset and behaviors, I was unable to step onto the path of my purpose.
My purpose in helping others is to guide them onto their own path of re-learning what it means to love and exploring what it really takes to cultivate deep and loving connections - especially when overcoming past relationship experiences. This calling was placed on my heart when I first started my business but I had a lot of work to do within myself before I was ready to answer it I had to heal my own relational wounds and let go of the emotional baggage Yes, many others have hurt me; but I had to face the truth that I had also been the one doing the hurting I had to challenge the unlovability story while also looking at all the ways that I was the one behaving in unloving ways. Past relationship experiences do impact how we show up in current relationships. What is also true, however, is that we are not beholden to our past. While we can’t change our past, we can make different choices in the present. And that is what I’ve been learning to do.
I transformed from someone who de-prioritized relationships to someone who believes that personal relationships are our most important practice and priority. At the age of 50, I finally welcomed a loving relationship into my life, and I continue to heal and grow as I explore new ways of expressing love with him. My own relationship experiences - the good, the bad, and the terriblehave all equipped me for the work I’ve been asked to do. Navigating betrayal, walking the path of forgiveness, and exploring the true meaning of love have all brought me here - ready to love, ready to serve, and ready to triumph
I work with people who want to grow beyond past relationship experiences and cultivate healthy, loving relationships now.

My name is James Fomby, and today I come to you not just as a man, but as a testament to God's endless grace, mercy, and the marvels of His creations I am a survivor, innovator, and trailblazer, though these titles are not solely of my own making The hand of God has shaped every facet of my journey
From a complex childhood, the unwavering faith of my mother enveloped me, guiding me towards the Word and light of the Lord. At eleven, I opened my heart to Jesus, letting His love and wisdom become my anchor. My father, through his tireless labor, taught me about the power of hard work and the importance of resilience. Both planted seeds of faith and grit that would come to define my life.
But as with any journey, there were valleys Life presented me with a challenge that would have broken many: the loss of my leg But in that valley, I witnessed a miracle Science, innovation, and the marvel of God's creation brought forth a blessing in the form of an AI-powered 'Robot Leg' This leg wasn't just a piece of machinery; it was a testament to God’s unwavering love, the infinite possibilities He bestows upon us, and the bridge between His creations and human innovations.
My granddaughter lovingly calls me 'Papa with the Robot Leg', a title I wear with honor. And every step I take with this leg, I'm reminded of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me " This leg has become more than a device; it's a symbol of hope, resilience, and the magic that happens when faith meets tenacity.
My story, captured in 'Robot Leg: How AI Reshaped My Body' , isn’t just about technological wonders, but a dance of grace. Every chapter echoes the beauty of second chances, new beginnings, and the divine orchestration of our Lord.
Today, as I share this testimony, I want each of you to remember: no matter the challenges you face, no matter how insurmountable they seem, with God by your side, there's always hope, always a way For He has plans to prosper us, to give us hope and a future
Thank you for letting me share my journey I pray my story brings you hope, strength, and a reaffirmed faith in our loving Father above. God bless you all.
I invite you to check out my chapter in Triumphant!

I’m also a disabled veteran with over a decade of service, most of which was in Army Special Operations.
I run my company, Choose to L;VE, full-time and it is designed to raise awareness of suicide prevention and mental health. I created my apparel line, L;VE, to inspire people to keep fighting and to know they are not alone The semicolon has been used as a symbol to keep going or continue your story A portion of my sales goes to suicide prevention to aid in the fight against the stigma and continue to build more resources for those in need of support My new podcast is geared towards the LGBTQ community where we cover entrepreneurship, queer culture, and mental health.
I’m also the CEO of Aiden’s Adventure 5K which was created to honor my friend’s 5-year-old son who passed away in a tragic accident on June 3, 2021. We honor him by raising money in his name and donating the proceeds to Care and Share of Southern Colorado and Catamount Institute, which both meant so much to him In
the first year, we raised $8,500 which was split between both organizations June 1st will be the 3rd annual event and we are hoping to match that number Aiden’s adventurous spirit is what we hope to exude through this event by holding a 5K run on a trail in the woods, playing games, painting rocks, and just sharing his “ never met a stranger” personality. Giving back to his community is who Aiden was and who we will continue to remember.
The premise of my chapter in this book is to share the mental health struggles that my wife faced before taking her life. I’m opening the door to just a glimpse of the lows that she faced, and what I believe to be the start of a very dark road for her. I describe in detail what happened during that event because it was a significant glimpse into something I didn’t understand I’m sharing this piece of the story so that people know it is okay to share your story and to also recognize when someone may need additional help Mental health is such a difficult thing to not just experience but to experience alone. We are not alone. Even though we are all different and we struggle with different
aspects of our lives, we can relate to each other There are others out there waiting to hear your story and waiting to connect with you. Share. Share. Share.
What inspired me to share this chapter of my life was the desire to let others know that you’re not alone. Throughout my healing journey, the more that I have shared with others, the more receptive people have been to it, and grateful because they are inspired to also share their story The connections that I have made with complete strangers by showing this type of vulnerability is so powerful And I hope that others can feel inspired and feel that power within themselves knowing that it is okay to put yourself out there and share

My name is Jade Smyth, and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have lived in Colorado since February of 2015 I am originally from England but grew up in Alaska
One of the things I truly love about Colorado is the landscape is very reminiscent of what I saw every day growing up while I played outside, or while fishing and camping, two of my favorite pastimes. I love to paint abstract images and do paint-pour art. One of my deepest passions is photography. My favorite things to take pictures of are landscapes, clouds, flags, and macro photography of flowers and bugs!
I am a mother to three daughters. I have two cats and an English Bulldog, as well.
I own a small cleaning company, Fresh Beginnings Cleaning Service, which I have operated for two years in July! I specialize in move-out cleans for property managers and commercial cleans for businesses in Colorado Springs
The title of my chapter is “My Hope Is in You.” It is a snippet story of the trials and tribulations of my life as a young child, through young adulthood, and into my matured adulthood to obtain my long overdue diploma. Receiving my GED at 40 years of age, after never seeing this reality in my dreams. The message within my chapter is to show that as long as you don’t give up on yourself, you can achieve great things!
What inspired me to open up and share certain raw and personal details of my life is so that others can see that no barrier can hold back a determined soul. There are people in the world who may be thinking that the life they are living will always be filled with despair and desperation, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! In my chapter, I reveal heartwrenching truths that most people could never wrap their minds around, but I know that somewhere in my words on paper, someone will be truly inspired to keep climbing up the mountain of life to stick their flag on top of the summit!
My love for humanity keeps me moving forward My compassion for others leads me to want to share the life I have had to live in hopes it will inspire them to allow their soul's power to radiate from their being!
My dream is to be a “Beacon of Light & Pillar of Hope” and I’m hoping through the challenges I have endured in my life, and the voice I now use with such vigor, that I can change how others view their adversity. There is always a silver lining, and life does in fact get better!

I'm Mandy! I'm a mom of twins, a wife, a master photographer, a master craftsman, a published author of an Amazon bestseller, “The Hands They Were Dealt”, and also a HUGE Friends fan I have a photography studio in Colorado Springs and my passion is telling people's stories with beautiful imagery, whether it's the story of your life, your family, or your business, I love it all! I take photography seriously, but I’m actually a very fun and silly person! I’m obsessed with the show Friends, (in case you couldn’t tell from the whole Good Morning America thing) and I’m definitely a blend of Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel! Although, from the photo here you may also see I have a bit of Chandler in me! Could I BE any goofier? You may or may not (but absolutely will) see some of that Friends influence in my studio!
Being a mom of twins sure keeps me on my toes! I’m married to a wonderfully supportive man who helps me pursue my dreams I wouldn’t be where I am today without his continued encouragement and confidence in me and my abilities In my spare time I like to sip at vanilla chai, munch on apples and peanut butter (my favorite!), love on my dog Kaladin, and sing! I’ve been a professional photographer for several years! I know for a lot of people, photography is a hobby, but that’s not the case for me. I’ve been in the industry for a long time, but I was first in FRONT of the camera, as a model! I loved modeling, but one day I had a
truly awful experience at a modeling call and realized I didn’t ever want to model again. I was still very passionate about the industry of photography and knew I couldn’t leave it behind for good. I realized what I loved about it had nothing to do with modeling it was about being part of creating an entire atmosphere that led to a beautiful, finished product! That’s when I decided to get BEHIND the camera
Because of the bad experience I had as a model, I vowed to ensure every single person I photographed would have an AMAZING time. That’s why my number one priority is YOUR experience! I cater every single aspect of my photo shoots to fit your needs. From the carefully designed and soothing studio to the creative themes we can develop together, to a relaxed environment. I know that the finished product won’t be as beautiful and memorable as we both want if we don’t enjoy ourselves. So, I always say, “Let’s be sure to have fun!” first and foremost!
I love getting creative and doing themed photo shoots, and whatever other awesome ideas you come up with! I know together we can make your entire photo experience incredible! Imagine having not only a stunning work of art to hang in
your home but also the memories behind every captured smile and sweet moment. You’ll walk away with art and memories, to be treasured forever!
In my chapter of the book, I talk about how photography wasn't just a hobby for me; it was a journey of self-discovery. Initially, I found myself in front of the camera, drawn to the world of modeling. Reflecting on my journey, despite my initial success in modeling, the criticism from a modeling agency left me feeling inadequate and prompted a shift in focus towards family life Transitioning into parenthood, I found solace in creativity When I received a camera as a gift, it reignited my passion for photography, leading me to transition from model to photographer Through dedication and networking, my photography business flourished, and I am grateful for those friends, family members, and clients who have used, liked, and shared my business. With a gentle and loving push from certain people, I was able to move out of my comfort zone as a “photographer” and step into the world of writing which culminated in the publication of my first book.
The book, an unexpected venture, became a platform for storytelling through images, highlighting the diversity of human experiences, and embracing a mindset shift towards positivity and self-belief. With that, I witnessed my own profound personal growth and professional success. As I continue to navigate life's journey, I am grateful for the challenges and triumphs that have shaped me. Supported by loved ones and fueled by a newfound sense of purpose, I look forward to future endeavors, including public speaking, with optimism and determination This is just the beginning of my evolving narrative and I look forward to more collaborations and more volumes of my book! Triumphant for me is a renewing of hope and how what I went through has shaped me into the woman I am today and why I run my business the way I do! I can’t wait to see where this takes me and all of the other authors in this book!

My name is Michele Marshall, and I wear many hats. By day, I am an IT Service Desk Manager, ensuring that technology and support systems run smoothly. Beyond that, I am a freelancer, an author, and someone with a diverse professional background that spans multiple industries. I've garnered a reputation as the Queen of Customer Service, a deeply cherished title throughout my career. This moniker stems from my unwavering belief that treating customers like royalty fosters lifetime loyalty.
My journey, however, is about more than professional achievements I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential This passion inspired me to contribute a chapter to Volume 1 of the book Triumphant: Stories of Inspiration, Empowerment, and Success. In my chapter, I delve into my early experiences of feeling unworthy and detail the pivotal moments that have shaped my life. My narrative goes beyond merely recounting events; it offers a thoughtful exploration of the mindset and strategies that enabled me to overcome adversity and persevere. I emphasize the importance of self-acceptance, empowerment, and self-worth
The decision to share my story in this book was driven by a desire to provide hope and encouragement to others who are facing their own struggles Throughout my life, some of the most significant shifts have been prompted by hearing or reading about someone else's
testimony. I firmly believe that everyone has an experience that, when shared, can empower others to change their perspective and keep moving forward. There is a subtle strength that develops within us when we discover that someone else has not only survived a similar experience but has also flourished because of it I hope that readers of this book will feel empowered to share their triumphant experiences with others, authentically and compassionately
I am in awe of the narratives of all the authors in this book. Each one shares unique experiences and perspectives on overcoming adversity and achieving success. The richness and diversity of these stories are truly inspiring. I hope readers will find the courage and motivation to persevere and thrive in their own lives, no matter their challenges. I aim to show they are not alone in their struggles and that success is attainable.
In this book, we invite you to participate in the empowering Triumphant Movement Through sharing our stories, we hope to create a ripple effect of inspiration and encouragement By embracing our vulnerabilities and celebrating
our successes, we can uplift each other and build a community of resilience and strength.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and the stories of my fellow authors. It is our collective hope that you find the inspiration and empowerment you need to continue your journey, no matter where it leads. Together, we can triumph over adversity and achieve the success we all deserve.
I would love to connect with you

For 21 of the last 23 years, my main purpose has been to love and nurture my two daughters. Now, as an empty nester, I have been redefining, no, remembering who I really am: a spiritual being having a human experience I like to say that one of my greatest purposes on this earth is to be a light and bring joy to others That is why I became a Certified DreamBuilder Coach I help women and mothers define and clarify their dreams; I then take them through a proven, reliable, repeatable system of transformation so they may live the lives that they love. I would love for everyone that I work with to experience their Triumphant moments.
In the book, Triumphant: Stories of Inspiration, Empowerment, and Success, my chapter is about one traumatic event that snowballed into a heartbreaking discovery that ended my marriage It has taken over a decade for me to truly heal from it
As a single mom, I was blessed in so many ways I had a good life with my daughters and am grateful to have very strong bonds with them My parents were a tremendous support system for me and my daughters. However, there was a lot of healing within myself that needed to take place. I took little steps on my own but I reached a point where I was so discontented with my results. I knew there was more to life than what I was living; however, I did not know how to get the results I desired. When one starts searching for answers, one finds that the answers will show up. That is exactly what happened to me. An acquaintance
introduced me to Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich. This was my first step into the world of self-development That book led me to Bob Proctor’s 12-month course which was invaluable in opening up my mind to new beliefs and practices
Over the last six years, I’ve been on an intentional journey of self-development. I invested in myself multiple times because I desired significant and positive changes in my life. The most impactful improvements resulted from hiring a life coach and mentor, Megan Kamei. In fact, I still work with her today. She introduced me to muscle testing and energy work, which is fascinating to me. I made quantum leaps while working with Megan. Another benefit is that I have met some wonderful, supportive people through her group who are now part of my tribe
Through this self-development work, I learned some very valuable tools that I continue to use:
Forgiveness: what it is, whom it benefits, and why it is so important.
Self-love and self-worth: inner peace and confidence come from these two things.
Mentors and your tribe: help us grow and give us support
Meditation has played a huge role in my healing and overall peace
I found a way to forgive my ex-husband. And more than that, I wish him happiness, health, and prosperity.
I have learned to accept myself for who I am. I know I am worthy of everything that I desire. We all are worthy, every single person on this planet Self-worth and self-love are choices we make for ourselves daily, hourly, and sometimes minuteby-minute When I make a perceived mistake or failure, I have developed the ability to find humor in it and/or to find value in it Sometimes, I might still find that I am “beating myself up” over a mistake; however, when I do, I interrupt that pattern and replace it with healthier self-talk. We are all human, and while we are not perfect, our inner being, the spiritual part of us IS perfect. That is why it is so important to tune into God’s source of energy within us. When we tune in, we can experience more love, abundance, joy, peace, and health. Meditation helps with this, as does getting out in nature.
The inspiration for sharing my chapter comes from a desire to support women and moms who are in the trenches now searching for positive change but maybe feeling stuck. Those who are where I have been. We are all capable of far more than we realize and I believe each person’s ability to rise above current circumstances and move into a life they absolutely love.
If this resonates with any readers, reach out to me at rachel@therachelevans com to book a strategy session where we will define your dreams and get you started on achieving those dreams Remember, we are all worthy of living a life we love

I encourage you to not only read my chapter on Mindset but also take time to read the whole Triumphant book These Triumphant stories mean a lot to everyone who wrote them, and they should all have a nugget that we can glean from. Some of these authors I know well and have also had the privilege to interview on my show Get Motivated on YouTube at Donato Motivates.
In my chapter about mindset, I share a few things about my life. We all go through things in our lives that challenge us They all affect us, but we need to make sure that it is a positive one in the end and that we can turn them into our Triumphant stories I normally call these the tests that turn into our testimonies I believe that we are to take these experiences in our lives to help others who are going through the same types of issues to encourage and strengthen them.
Our mindset has a lot to do with how we handle these things in life. Growing up in this world today can be hard and unfortunately, we can get programmed with things from an early age that can hinder us. This is where we need to remove those old thoughts that are harming us and replace them with positive and uplifting thoughts This of course takes time and effort but will pay out in the long run You cannot go back and change the past, but you do get to choose how you live in the future going forward
Improving our mindset does take time and we also need to realize how our minds interact with the rest of who we are, body and spirit Knowing and understanding that all three parts of who we are interacting with each other can bring new light on overcoming and improving our lives. Also understanding that our minds are both conscious and subconscious. Those things that we do like muscle memory, we just do and react instead of thinking things through. Identifying this is just the first step in making a positive change.
I firmly believe that we need to continue to learn and grow in all areas of our lives We are never learning With that said, once we do have this learning and these Triumphant stories in our background; we need to teach and share with others Though we should be mentoring people with said knowledge, we cannot forget to feed ourselves also and have mentors who challenge us. If you do not have this in your life I encourage you to seek out someone that you can trust to give you the knowledge that you seek.
If I can be of any help, please feel free to contact me.

I can honestly say that if you told me 10 years ago, that I would be writing a portion of my story for the public to read, I would not have believed you. I was terrified to share the inner workings of my own heart. I was the youngest of four children and the only girl. I was shy and content with being the “quiet one.” My underlying belief of not good enough or worthy enough kept me from speaking up. Fast forward to being a young
woman, I struggled to show up confidently in friend groups, church communities, and even in my family relationships. I was quiet out of fear, not humility. I was scared to put my words, my thoughts, my story, and my beliefs out into the world What if I said too much? What if I am wrong? What if they choose to not like me? These were the questions that kept me frozen in conversation
Much like a butterfly starts as a caterpillar inside its quiet cocoon, so was I comfortable within my own tightly wrapped-up world. I was not yet aware of the person God was calling me to step into: my true identity all along. Until one day, desperate as a young mom of four beautiful babies under the age of four, I cried out in complete exhaustion to God. I was hungry and searching for more. I felt lost as a woman. I felt unsure of being a mother. I was doing all the right things yet I felt disconnected from who God was and who I was One night after an exceptionally rough few months, I experienced a personal experience of hearing God whisper in the depths of my scared and tired heart that there was more Slowly, yet with hope and encouragement, I felt safe enough to ask hard questions and seek the truth I began digging deeper into my faith and at the same time, I
began the process of breaking out of my false self and discovering my true self just as a butterfly does as it begins to flutter its wings for the first time.
We have all heard the facts around butterflies that if you don’t allow them to struggle and wrestle as they break out of the cocoon, you can actually prevent them from fully developing. Metaphorically, I had to walk through my own struggle of breaking off lies I was believing about who I was I had to break off the old self and allow myself to grow and strengthen in the truth of who I was becoming My story inside of Triumphant shares one particular area of my life where I had to realize like the caterpillar that
there was more to life than I had experienced It was a time of getting uncomfortable and breaking out of the cocoon of old comfortable identities and growing and expanding into the woman I was created to be. It was there all along, in my DNA. Just as with you, Dear Reader, you have a Godgiven identity and purpose that was written within your heart from the beginning of time.
What is it God is calling you to step into? It’s time to be brave, be bold, and take the courageous step of being known as your beautiful self It is worth it, my friend

The inspiration for my chapter comes from a series of pivotal moments that have defined my faith journey and my work as a mentor. These moments are not just about personal triumphs or blessings, but about the undeniable evidence of God's hand at work through mentorship. They are testimonies of His faithfulness, His provision, and His power to turn impossible situations into testimonies of victory.
Writing this chapter has been an exercise in reflection and gratitude It has reminded me of the many times God has utilized mentorship in my life weaving His purposes into the fabric of our lives through the influence of mentors
I am honored and blessed to live my life and ministry dedicated to empowering others through the transformative power of faith and mentorship. I strive to inspire and equip individuals to fulfill their God-given potential. It is my prayer that readers will be encouraged to recognize and celebrate the glorious ways God is moving in their own lives, especially through the transformative power of mentorship.

My name is Dr. David (Dave) Ammons, PhD. I am a child of God, a loving husband to Christel (Galloway) Ammons, a father to two handsome sons (John and Aaron), a grandfather to six children, and the youngest son (of six) to Roy and Mary Ellen Ammons I am a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer Three (CW3), combat veteran, and Bronze Star Medal Recipient. I am currently a Professor at Western Governors University (WGU).
I listed these "positions" in my life in the order of importance to me. I love God, my family, people, my job, and life in general. I wanted to contribute to the Triumphant project because I know I have something to say through all of my life experiences. I know that I am special and - at the same time - I am not special What happens to me could, in some form, happen to others Life is about choices, events, and relationships My relationship with God and my wife, more than anything else, affects just about everything I do I have lived in a lot of places and experienced many things I have been on top of the world and have struggled mightily. There have been times when my life was literally in danger and other times when I felt completely safe and established. I say all these things to reveal thatas the Bible says - we can overcome by "the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony."
I want to testify that when I was down, I did not quit. In some cases, I just made smarter decisions and other times there were miracles that happened. I want everyone to know one of the quotes I live by from Winston Churchill which is, "Success is not final and failure is not fatal IT IS THE COURAGE TO CONTINUE THAT COUNTS "
Hear my story and other stories of mine and know that I am unique but not special You can take the general ideas of what I went through and learn from my experiences AND SUCCEED!! Do not stop!!
