Garden Club grants summer camp fun Attention Longboat kiddos: The Longboat Key Garden Club wants to send you to summer camp. The club will award three summer camp grants to children living on Longboat or children of workers on Longboat. The grants are up to $300 per camper, and they are eligible for summer camps at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and Wekiva Youth Camp. If interested, look at the camp websites and pick the days you would like to attend. Contact Michelle Hoover at mbhoover65@ gmail.com to reserve your spot. Requests need to be submitted by March 24. The first three requests will be honored.
