Oh, my, it’s ‘Happy Days!’ While wandering around Longboat Key, Michael Saunders & Co. Realtors Kat Haynes and Janet Walter ran into their childhood heart throb, Henry Winkler, at Harry’s Continental Kitchens. Winkler, who was in town for the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee’s “Violins of Hope” event is best known for his role as Fonzie in “Happy Days.”
Mote Manatee ups his Super Bowl game Hugh, one of Mote Aquarium’s two resident manatees, is catching up to his sibling’s impressive Super Bowl prediction record. Last week, Hugh predicted the New England Patriots would win Super Bowl LI. And, though it didn’t look like he would be right, the Patriots pulled through for Hugh in overtime. His record is now 6-4. Buffet’s is 8-2.

Longboaters head to D.C. Susan and Tim Clarke attended the Florida Sunshine Ball during the recent presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. The ball was held at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium on Constitution Avenue. The Clarkes celebrated alongside U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Sarasota, and his wife, Sandy, and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio. The Beach Boys performed some of the famous band’s most popular songs.
