Holly Hennessy and Virginia Hepburn
Lost and found Key resident Holly Hennessy spent the weekend retracing her every step after losing her treasured diamond bracelet Dec. 11. After failing to find it, she called Longboat Key police. Kim Feagle, who took Hennessy’s call, was the also the dispatcher on duty when a woman called saying she found a bracelet at St. Armands Circle and wanted it returned to its owner. Because the lost bracelet was found in Sarasota, the woman was told to call the Sarasota police. Hennessy called the Sarasota Police Department with no success, and Feagle and her supervisor, Tina Adams, then helped trace the original call. The woman, Virginia Hepburn, had Hennessy’s bracelet, and the two met for lunch Dec. 18. “It’s nice to know, especially at this Christmas season, that there really are angels out there,” Hennessy said.
