Brooklyn Biscuit Tortoni Co.’s cheesecakes are now served at Tyler’s Ice Cream at the Centre Shops of Longboat Key. Brooklyn Biscuit Tortoni Co. is owned by Longboaters Karen Coltun and Alan Yaruss.

Christ Church helps Turning Points Several volunteers from Christ Church spent April 1 at the Turning Points Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event at Coquina Beach. The event raises money for homeless and at-risk children and families. At the end of the day, participants walked along the beach to raise awareness of the program.
