A rosy future After being married to his wife, Ann, for more than five decades, River Club’s Richard Omohundro knows how to put a smile on her face. “Flowers are her favorite,” said Omohundro, who was leaving a store in Lakewood Ranch March 30 after buying flowers for their 52nd anniversary. “They will solve any problem.”

Inspection is complete Troy Toman, a fire inspector for East County Fire Rescue, earned a retirement sendoff March 31. He worked in the fire service in Manatee County for 30 years, the last 12 of which were at East Manatee. His colleagues held a luncheon in his honor.
