Lakewood Ranch’s Dick Vitale, shown above with 15-year-old Cole Eicher, may have fame, but at “Wine. Dine. Make a Difference,” Eicher, a cancer survivor, was the star of the show. Eicher, as well as 9-yearold Enzo Grande, another cancer survivor, attended the Oct. 24 fundraising event at Main Street Trattoria, raising $16,000 for the V Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research. “It’s always great sharing time, great food and drinks with people that have a heart of gold and a willingness to help kids battling cancer,” Vitale said.
