Paws for a cause State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota has collected more than 850 pounds of pet food and is hoping for more because many senior citizens have trouble feeding their pets. “We wanted to address that need for seniors in our service area,” said Priscilla Glanville, a pet food drive organizer and SCF professor who leads the drive to help seniors care for their pets. A collection box is in the lobby of Building 1 at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway E.
