Editors Notice Board Welcome to the September issue of Your Child in Whittlesea. Spring is finally here! I would like to wish all the dad’s a happy Fathers Day. This issue features lots of great reading, school holiday programs at your local library and so many great advertisers.

Frances and I went to Nick Ascenzo Park in Thomastown for our“Fun with Frances “page. If there is a park you would like to see included, please email or send a message on Facebook We would like to encourage kids to write in and share their stories, jokes and ideas. Children are also encouraged to have fun in our “Kids Corner”. We frequently have competitions for our young readers, so keep an eye for details in our magazines or on our Facebook pages.

Fun with Frances

This month Frances and I went to Nick Ascenzo Park in Thomastown There are plenty of toddler swings, multiple slides, a bird's nest swing, climbing nets, a fireman's pole and spring rockers. The park has recently been upgraded and there are new picnic settings and seating, more trees for shade, a new shelter and BBQ area with drinking fountain.

For the bigger children there is a new half-sized basketball court.
