Manningham Hello and welcome to our November 2016 issue. For the most part of October Im sorry to say we had nothing but rain so I am hoping and expecting that November will be much kinder towards us in regards to our weather. November is a great time of year to go outdoors and enjoy the beautiful spring days that it brings, it is also a perfect time of the year to visit the many wonderful restaurants and cafes that Manningham has to offer and enjoy a meal with family or friends.

Some amazing restaurants and cafes that offer great outdoor or indoor dinning areas are Degani Templestowe, Little Kitchen on Lillian, Warrandyte CafĂŠ, Templestowe Hotel and the Cherry Hill Tavern all have fabulous menus outdoor area and are family friendly.

As you all know Christmas is just around the corner and every Christmas my son and I post a letter to Santa and drop it off at the Letter Box located outside the Bakery on Tunstall - 26 Tunstall Square. If you decide to post a letter you should decorate your letters as the elves will give away some prizes for the best design.

Make sure you include your name and address so Santa can reply back to you.

Have fun doing it and remember Christmas is a special time to enjoy with all your family and friends.

Summer is only one month away so don't forget to book your kids swimming classes for Term 4 or enrolments for Term 1 at Westerfolds Sports Centre.

SKATE PARKS IN MANNINGHAM Swanston Reserve Playground Bulleen Bowl The Bulleen Bowl is famous for its retro feel, that has seen many local skaters hone their skills here for nearly 30-years. New and improved, 2014 upgrade works at the Bowl included fully enclosing and deepening the bowl and adding other skate elements such as a wall extension, car stopper ledge, jersey barrier and halfpipe corner.
