Hi and welcome to our last issue for the year!!

I can honestly say this year has flown by and I’m looking forward to some family time and not having to pack lunches!

In this months issue we have another competition - this time to win a family pass to see the Sand Sculptures at Frankston Waterfront. We also have some interesting articles inside this month starting with Choosing the Right Toy for Christmas, Kids and Ipads and Monsters Under the Bed. Capturing the Magic might give you a few tips on creating some great Christmas memories and with the weather warming up now the Snakes Beware reminds us to look out and after out pets.

The park Ollie and I visited was in Ivanhoe and its so worth the trip. Let me know if you go for a visit and what you rate it? Or if you have a park you think we should visit you can send me a message and we will put it on our list for 2016.

The recipes are some suggestions for snacks for Santa that little master chefs could help out with. And speaking of snacks for Santa we asked a few kids what they leave out for Santa in Kids Corner.

Cremean Avenue IVANHOE

Tucked away in the streets of Ivanhoe this park is well worth the outing. The main structure is a study wooden construction with so much to explore. Its two joint areas allow for age or skill on each side to play. The ramps make it easy access for younger ones & for little adventures they can use the wall climb with chain rope, the square rung ladder or the stepping stone bridge. There are 3 slides with two of these being part of a dual wave slide, tic tac toe, panel with steering wheel, monkey bars then leading to a balance beam. Add to this 4 swings (one with harness), a rocking car, stand on spinner & to the back is a rope climbing pyramid. Plus there's a half basketball court with a netball ring on the back, seating at each area, a work out station with 3 weight resistance options to try out (elliptical trainer, pull downs & body twist) plus paths for scooting or bike riding.

This park is brilliant with all it has to offer & I hope you love it as much as we did!!

The Boulevard in Ivan hoe is one of Melbourne’s biggest and brightest Christmas lights disp lays. Since the 1950s, residents have decorated their houses, gardens and windows with illuminating displays of lights, nativity scenes and everything Christmas.

The Boulevard Lights will be running from the 12th - 24th December 2015 between 8.30pm and 11.00pm each night.
