Joining in God’s Generous Portions

Our hope is these reflections on God’s generous portions in Young Life camping have served to accomplish three things in your life. First, these true stories have inspired you in your faith. Second, that the Scripture excerpts and application questions have allowed you to slow down and reflect. And finally, you have been spurred on toward “love and good deeds.” These are but a few stories of God’s many generous portions to Young Life thus far. We are confident He is not done and we are not done, so if this has inspired you to want to get more deeply involved in God’s redemptive work in kids’ lives through Young Life, we welcome you with open arms. If you would like to find out more about ways to be involved. Thanks for taking the time to read Generous Portions. Please contact us at alumni@sc.younglife.org or find your local area here www.younglife.org/find.

We have amazing stories of generosity in this mission: Leaders giving their last bills of cash so a kid can go to camp, parents giving their home to Monday night Young Life clubs so often they had to re-carpet, and staff giving of their funds so other staff can “make it.” The content of this “first edition” of Generous Portions is focused on some of the great and generous stories around Young Life camping.
