Wee Star

of the Season

ParentZone Summer 2015

I’d like to nominate my daughter, Erica Matteo. Her primary 3 class had to pick 2 poem s to recite from memory in front of the who le class and instead of choosing easy poems, Erica chose 2 of the longest poems (one of them was 5 verses long!) I’ll admit I was worr ied because it was a tough job and Erica always puts pressure on herself to get things right first time around, but she wanted to chal lenge herself even though she was nervous. I’m 07 proud to say she worked really hard and recited both poems perfectly. Her teac her said she was a confident speaker and was very impressed with her reading. Carolanne, proud mum
