Public Notice ‘Gathering of Nations’ Event Thursday, the 30th day of October, 2014 The Yidindji Tribal People release this notice to maintain the honour and integrity of the Yidindji Tribe. The Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders wants to bring to the attention of the world that the Yidindji Tribal People will have a tribal delegation attending the ‘Gathering of Nations’ held on the 1st and 2nd of November 2014 at the ‘Aboriginal Embassy’ in Canberra, Australia. The representatives attend in the capacity as described below The Yidindji Tribal People now make known to the world that: 1. The Yidindji Tribal Emblem is used to identify Yidindji Tribal Authority. 2. The Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders grants permission for certain Yidindji Tribal members to attend the ‘Gathering of Nations’. 3. The Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders DOES NOT grant nor give permission for any other person to represent, speak on behalf of, and or attend on behalf, at the ‘Gathering of Nations’, the Yidindji Tribal People. 4. Any person claiming to represent, speak on behalf of, and or attend, the ‘Gathering of Nations’ on behalf of the Yidindji Tribal People gives mutual consent and or voluntarily consents to Yidindji tribal Law and to be tried within the jurisdiction of Yidindji Tribal Courts and or Tribunals pursuant to Yidindji Tribal Law and or any other jurisdiction the Yidindji tribal Council of Elders sees fit. 5. Any person claiming to represent, speak on behalf of, and or attend, any other forum on behalf of the Yidindji Tribal People gives mutual consent and or voluntarily consents to Yidindji tribal Law and to be tried within the jurisdiction of Yidindji Tribal Courts and or Tribunals pursuant to Yidindji Tribal Law and or any other jurisdiction the Yidindji tribal Council of Elders sees fit. 6. The Yidindji Tribal delegation has the consent from Ngambri Tribal Elder Guumaal Ngambri Mingo to be present on Ngambri Tribal Lands for the duration of the ‘Gathering of Nations’. 7. The Yidindji Tribal delegation IS NOT attending the ‘Gathering of Nations’ in any other capacity other than as Yidindji Tribal members pursuant to Yidindji Tribal Law.
