Public Notice Ja Birnyjalin Department of Sports and Recreation Monday the 5th day of September 2016. The Sovereign Yidindji Government under the authority of the Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders make known to the whole world that the Sovereign Yidindji Government has reestablished the Department of Sports and Recreation The Department of Sports and Recreation develops and implements government policy and initiatives in sport and recreation, while contributing to the healthy life style of all persons and further enhance the quality of life through their participation and achievement in sport and recreation. The Sovereign Yidindji Government now make known to the world that: 1. The Sovereign Yidindji Government has the authorisation of the Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders to create the Department of Sport and Recreation. 2. The Department of Sport and recreation is empowered to provide leadership and coordination for sport and recreation services within the Yidindji Territory. 3. The Department of Sport and Recreation encourages the youth and younger generations to participate in sport as a means of enhancing their quality of life and commitment to their communities. 4. The Department of Sport and Recreation is empowered to creating great places to be active.
