The Sovereign Yidindji Government under the authority of the Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders make known to the whole world that the Sovereign Yidindji Government has authorised the naming of the city known by the Commonwealth of Australia as Cairns now be known as the city of Gimuy.

The Sovereign Yidindji Government now make known to the world that: 1. The city known by the Commonwealth of Australia now is known as the city of Gimuy. 2. The Cairns International Airport now is known as Gimuy International Airport. 3. The Port of Cairns is now known as Gimuy International Seaport.
