Public Notice Gimuy Flag

Thursday the 26th day of March 2015

The Sovereign Yidindji Government under the authority of the Yidindji Tribal Council of Elders make known to the whole world that the Sovereign Yidindji Government has authorised the use of the Gimuy Flag for use in official duties and occasions within Gimuy country pursuant to Sovereign Yidindji Government Law.

The Sovereign Yidindji Government now make known to the world that the Gimuy flag: 1. Is now an authorised flag for official use within Gimuy country.

2. Can be flown on its own within Gimuy country.

3. Can be flown in conjunction with the official Sovereign Yidindji Government flag pursuant to the conditions detailed within ‘Flying the Flag’ handbook.

4. Is for the public use within Gimuy country to designate property of the Sovereign Yidindji Government located within or emanating from Gimuy country.

5. Consists of three colours; orange, yellow and white.

Unlawful use, possession and or desecration of the Gimuy flag or any part of the Gimuy flag are prohibited and constitute an offence pursuant to Sovereign Yidindji Government Law and or Yidindji Tribal Law. Use means but is not limited to adverse use; the use without license or permission.

Possession means but is not limited to receiving or obtaining possession of the thing, having control over the disposition of the Gimuy flag (whether or not the Gimuy flag is in the custody of the person), and or having joint possession of the Gimuy flag.

Desecration means but is not limited to where a reasonable person would infer that the destruction or mutilation is intended publicly to express contempt or disrespect for the Gimuy flag, the Sovereign Yidindji Government, the Yidindji Tribal People, and or the Yidindji Tribe.

Part means but is not limited to any component of the Gimuy flag.

Any man, woman, child, and or person in use of, and or possession of, and or desecrating YIDINDJI driver licence and or components of the YIDINDJI driver licence, gives mutual assent, and or voluntarily consents to Yidindji Mayaar, and to be tried within the jurisdiction of Sovereign Yidindji Government Courts and or Tribunals pursuant to Sovereign Yidindji Government Mayaar.
