Plants
From traditional English garden plants to exotic or rare floras, we stock a wide variety of plants at the Hilltop Garden Centre, most of which are sourced from local suppliers including our delightful Floral Days bedding range! What unites all of our plants – beyond the wonderful variety of colours, fragrances and textures – is quality. We are renowned for stocking only the finest quality plants and go to great lengths to cherry pick those that offer the greatest longevity and beauty.

Let’s face it, who doesn’t love spending time in the garden (when the weather is good, at least)? It’s the perfect place to laze away sunny days, rock gently in a relaxing swing or hammock, soak up the seasons while perched on a bench, or cook up a barbecue and eat al fresco on the patio. Go on – you’ve worked hard to make your garden gorgeous, now give yourself some outdoor treats to make sure you can sit back and appreciate it!

Due to the nature of the items our stock changes (especially when we spot fantastic unique finds), so please come in store to see what we have and maybe try them out before you buy.

A veritable treasure trove of wonderful gifts, our gift shop contains a truly unique collection of goods, all hand picked by us for beauty, quality, usefulness and fun. Whether you’re looking for something special for a loved one or fancy treating yourself, we’re sure you’ll find something to love at the Hilltop Gift Shop.
Our delightful range includes Portmeirion crockery and homeware, shabby chic, bags and luggage, cards, clocks, puzzles and toys, wall art, flower displays and vintage sweets. Because we’re always finding new and exciting gifts – many of which are produced locally by talented artisans – our range is constantly changing, so be sure to come and explore the gift shop regularly to make sure you don’t miss out!
Pet & Bird Care
At Hilltop Garden Centre we love animals – wild and domesticated! We have a growing range of pet and bird care products all designed to keep creatures great and small well fed and well looked after. Pop in store to see our current range, and if you’re after something specific – perhaps for a particular breed of animal – just ask and we’ll see if we can order it for you.
Wild Bird Care
Whether you’re a devoted bird watcher or simply take delight in sharing your garden with nature, our products are sure to help attract the widest variety of beautiful birds to your garden.
At Hilltop Garden Centre we stock only the highest quality bird foods from Chapelwood and Tom Chambers, all of which provide a balanced dietary supplement ensuring that wild birds have the nutrients and energy they need. A wide range of bird tables, feeders and accessories can also be found in store.
Food Shop
Chock-full of delicious local produce and highquality foods from afar – all of which have been tasted and selected by us (it’s a hard life!) – Poppy’s Pantry has tempting treats and healthy goodies that we’re sure you’ll just love. From deliciously sweet local preserves, jellies and honey, to fresh-off-thefarm free range eggs, plus vintage sweets and meltin-the-mouth biscuits which are just perfect with a cup of tea, we have a wonderful range of food that’s ideal for enjoying at home or giving as a gift.
Excitingly, we’ll soon be stocking a wonderful range of local and exotic wines and beers, which can be enjoyed in our Floral Days Cafe or taken home to be relished with friends and family. Do come in for a taste!
