Shirley Miller was born in a small town in rural Texas She has a tenue of 40+ years in the mortgage industry starting out as a receptionist She obtained her first designation with FHA as a direct endorsement underwriter in the early 80’s In the early 90’s she owned a mortgage brokerage with a staff of fifteen people consisting of loan officers, processors, closers and a receptionist She obtained all designations for Conv, FHA, VA, Jumbo USDA and Non QM mortgage programs Positions she held in this industry are processor, processing manager, underwriter, VP of underwriting, regional underwriting manager, operations manager, sales manager and Head of Underwriting & Closing Shirley has her BA and MBA in Business Ms Miller goal is to educate under privileged high school graduates and existing young people in the mortgage industry to become support staff for loan officers Jr processors processors and underwriters shippers and insurers in the mortgage industry She has a plethora of experience in developing processing and underwriting loan flow standards for all Single Family lending platforms She also has experience in all lending guidelines, Conv, FHA, VA, Jumbo USDA and Non QM mortgage programs Shirley believes strongly in hard work, persistence, communication, commitment, and teamwork
