Matter of spring is a special edition and the first of our quarterly specially designed releases The Yellow Cover Magazine Inc has a solid entrepreneurial vision, with plans to work with businesses around the globe, small and large "Recognizing that we wanted this issue to be vibrant and fun, we worked with Nathasa Rae to commission a signature art collection of our soft spoken, passionate sister princesses Yaj & Anai. ™

How we started It was March 2020 and day two of a global pandemic and shutdown. Not understanding the intensity of what felt like an invasion caused me much worry. The passion gripped my heart, something I had never experienced I looked at my children, two of which were essential workers, in panic and said you have to stop working; it is not safe. People are dying, and your job is not worth it; my daughter looked at me with so much passion and said, Mom! "Someone has to be there for the customers." We walked toward this big 9ft door in our apartment and opened it almost in fear of who would be on the other side made a fast dash to the elevator with masks and gloves on and wrapped in plastic front to back On we went out to take my daughter to her work I drove around after, and I saw several closed signs on the door of businesses; I sat in my car in tears and asked: what are we going to do? These businesses will have to keep their name alive; how will we know who is open or not? I decided to write out a business plan and scheduled some appointments I went to a very famous man, Miguel Wilson, and we sat down to discuss my idea, and he gave me some solid advice

hadidra Muhammad is the Founder and CEO of Priceless Event Planning and to speak to such a phenomenal woman was a great experience Some of the less reported or written stories are stories of great people who do great things, and with our topic, we began this interview The eye for beauty is a gift, and at the beginning of her career, she would often dream of visually dressing the mannequins in the Gap store where she worked as a cashier. This humble talent worked with all the top A list celebrities and left them speechless. My first question was; how do you develop your ideas? 'It all starts with the location, she replied.' I design for the client's personality, but the space is essential.

K It can't be a focal point; it has to be the entire space. Khadidra believes that there must be an impact at every entry point by her vision to achieve a successful overall balance There is no recipe to how her mind works; she thinks about the color, space planning, and the number of people attending. This is a critical factor for this remarkable event planner to ensure that every area of her creativity is in respect of the number of guests. She is more than a designer; she is genuinely heaven sent. I can think of the song, this gift that she has the world didn't give it, and the world can't take it away Back in the time when she worked at the Gap, she would visualize dressing the mannequins or imagining what the holiday themes would be. Khadidra said "I couldn't define what it is that helps me decide overall." She loves to be inspired, and she gets ideas from seeing things on a walk down Fifth Avenue, like a cherry blossom that looks amazing. She stated she would capture it with her camera phone and save it for closer viewing Khadidra started as a one stop shop; she stated it was just me in the beginning ' thinking I could do it all, and in some cases, she did. Her team has grown to about seven, and she only works with top quality vendors She doesn't have a favorite fashion designer, but her love of shoes and handbags is on her list. When you arrive at this level of success, it often comes from life experiences and one day early morning, like 4;15 am. Khadidra was shot unexpectedly; hearing this was shocking, and even at that very moment, she managed to contact all her vendors for an event that would take place later that day Her star power goes without saying, and her work for some A list celebrities brings us to this unique baby shower photography. Her clients are the best, and this Baby Wright project was designed for Taina and G Herbo. We give it up for this impressive and beautiful woman. Moreover, Khadidra's magic is worth taking note of. athasa is my name and my day starts at 7 am with a good morning from my new puppy or young daughters As I work myself out of bed, I take our puppy on a walk, and my girls tag along We start our homeschool curriculum aiming to be done by noon As I put my kids down for naps and quiet time, I begin working on commissions, art designs, and illustrations. My father routinely stops by each day and helps clean up and take care of the kids when needed so that I can focus on my art.

Each day, I will fight the best I can to serve and love my family well and create artwork that will inspire others to keep going. I started my warriors to inspire me to push through the most physically painful moments of my life. I knew that I was not alone in feeling heartache, pain, and depression I knew others needed to be encouraged to continue to go on while embracing their true natural beauty

N My husband returns home from work and enjoys cooking dinner. This gives me focused time with my art and often a napping puppy at my side. I break for dinner and family time, frequently walking with the family and dog before helping my husband put the kids down for bed I then continue working on art at times until a late night stroll with the puppy breaks up the focus I then fall asleep to repeat this routine the following morning. However, life is not always this perfectly planned out ideal routine. So often see our lives through the Instagram lens, trying to make ourselves look 'perfect.' More honestly, I have medical issues that can significantly impact my daily functioning In reality, I wake up at a range of times depending on my physical and mental health I'm not perfect at homeschooling, but I try hard to ensure my daughter learns every day. My father is a great help, and even with his support, I struggle between the back and forth of art and giving attention to kids who want some mommy attention, and yes, I struggle with mom guilt. Bedtime for the kids is a whole other battle itself. Then I sit down to work on art with varying energy levels and often pain as my chronic illness or mental health struggles to not just sleep

A focused patina, in some ways, would be a challenge, and how we were able to differentiate the yellow selections was merely like being drawn by a magnet. Our design centered background helped us out a lot, and we are so proud to have worked with Kelly Glaze, the store design manager. Pamela's health care journey began as a teenager after seeing her father battle acute lung cancer for many years, ultimately succumbing his battle to pneumonia. While seeing her father suffer, she told her parents that she wanted a healthcare career. At 16, she became a certified nursing assistant and began working at a nursing and rehabilitation facility in her hometown After graduating high school, Pamela continued her path in healthcare She went on to further her education, where she would receive more intense medical training and a degree in inpatient care to continue her healthcare career. While in college, she conceived her first born child. However, she did not allow becoming a young mother stop her. She continued pushing forward, determined to complete what she started As a young single mother, Pamela pushed forward in her health care journey and gained employment working with telemetry and cancer patients in a local hospital. She would later join the American Red Cross where she worked and supported HIV/AIDS patients in the community. Several years later, she would join an HBCU Student Health Services in Atlanta, Georgia where she enjoyed working along side other nurses and physicians as well as interacting with college students on a daily basis. As a young women in her early twenties, many of the students felt comfortable confiding in Pamela about their personal life and health issues In her early 30's, Pamela met her husband and became a work at home mom. Although Pamela worked from home all while raising her children, health care was still her passion. armella Matthews, a fashion designer, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she learned her trade during her years in high school. The high school where she started to understand her skill was Carver Vo Tech High, where she took apparel design at 15. In those four years, Carmella began to make clothing for classmates and family, but her biggest year was her senior year, she made multiple gowns for her friends, and that's when she knew her lane for fashion design was going to be elegant dresses! Carmella also worked in the fashion and alteration industry, and her career opportunities include David's Bridal and Nordstroms, where she further improved her skills as a seamstress

Throughout the years, her client list grew tremendously for her custom gowns which she kept doing while working as a mother and wife.

Ride To The Olympics is a non profit organization dedicated to changing history by empowering underrepresented youth throughout the country.

Recalling the distinctive style of celebrity fashion and a mission that focuses on building HBCU students, the collection belongs to Miguel Wilson, an award winning celebrity menswear fashion designer, philanthropist, author, and founder of Ride The Olympics Foundation.

Miguel Wilson launched the first HBCU Polo Team at Morehouse College in Atlanta to provide exposure and training programs centered around equestrian sports.
