Week 13: Infiltration Tower Shibuya

Infiltration Tower: This tower is a reflection of the chaos reflected in shibuya Crossing and how Humans Move in and out of buildings in the city.

The organic form reflects the chaotic flow of people. The organic creature infiltrates into the rectilinear forms defining the orderly program.

Iteration Selection Process

1. Pipe shape chosen as it was more organic facilitating in the circulation experience.

2. The variable pipe formation is utilized to express the irregularities that people take in the study of a Swarm Reflecting on the intermittent flow of people from shibuya crossing 3. Larger Variable Pipes was used to help ease users into the programmatic space.

Feedback 1. Consider the curves forms to be smoother and not disjoint 2. Crystallize concept leaning to the idea of duality and contrast between the curves and linear forms 3. Program space could consider using the curved forms.
