Palavra da ABAG | ABAG’s Message Prezado Leitor, A Aviação Geral brasileira vive um de seus momentos mais desafiadores. Em 2014, os dados mostram que a desaceleração econômica vivida pelo país afetou drasticamente as operações do segmento. Apesar dessa redução, a Aviação Geral obteve crescimento expressivo em unidades de aeronaves. No ano passado, eventos como Copa do Mundo e Eleições evidenciaram a expressiva importância da Aviação Geral para conectividade do país, chegando a ligar mais de 3.500 localidades, sendo que 95% não são cobertas pelas companhias aéreas. A facilidade de conexão entre lugares onde a Aviação Comercial não alcança aliada à rapidez de locomoção tornaram a AG uma importantíssima peça geradora de valor para empresas, governos e a sociedade em geral. O Anuário Brasileiro de Aviação Geral 2015 traz informações que revelam não apenas a importância da utilização da infraestrutura aeroportuária existente pelo setor, especialmente considerando a realização de grandes eventos como os Jogos Olímpicos em 2016, mas também a necessidade de ampliação dos investimentos em pequenos e médios aeroportos, para permitir maior capilaridade entre as várias regiões do país. Nos capítulos, é possível apreciar os números da Frota Brasileira da Aviação Geral, bem como as operações realizadas por suas aeronaves pelo Brasil e pelo Mundo. Esperamos, através de muitas contribuições e sugestões, aprimorar este trabalho nas próximas edições, de forma a disponibilizarmos uma ferramenta de inteligência dinâmica e viva, perenemente agregando valor à sociedade. Dear Reader, Brazilian General Aviation is facing one of its most challenging moments. In 2014, data shows that the country’s economic retraction drastically affected the segment’s operations. Despite this reduction, General Aviation achieved a significant increase in number of aircraft. Last year, events such as the FIFA World Cup and the national elections demonstrated General Aviation’s importance for the country’s connectivity, reaching more than 3,500 locations, 95% of which are not served by airlines. The ease of connection between locations that commercial aviation does not reach, joined to the speed of locomotion make GA an extremely important creator of value for companies, governments and society as a whole. The 2015 Brazilian Yearbook of General Aviation presents information that reveals not only the importance of the use of existing airport infrastructure by the sector, especially considering the realization of major events such as the Olympic Games in 2016, but also the need to increase investments in small and midsize airports, to allow more diffuse and direct connections among the country’s varied regions. In the chapters, it’s possible to appreciate the numbers of the Brazilian General Aviation Fleet, as well as the operations its aircraft undertake within Brazil and to the world beyond. We hope, through the many contributions and suggestions always received, to improve this work in future editions, in order that we may make this tool one of dynamic and living intelligence, perennially adding value to society.

A EVOLUÇÃO DA FROTA BRASILEIRA DE AERONAVES DA AVIAÇÃO GERAL THE EVOLUTION OF BRAZILIAN FLEET OF GENERAL AVIATION AIRCRAFT
A frota brasileira de Aviação Geral em 2014 totalizou 15.120 aeronaves, um aumento de 3,2% em relação ao ano anterior. Ao longo de 10 anos, foram adicionadas quase 5 mil aeronaves, ou seja, um crescimento percentual de 45,5%. O crescimento de 3,2% se deve à adição de 584 aeronaves na frota, sendo: 184 novas, 398 usadas e 2 com categoria de utilização modificada. Além disso, houve o cancelamento do registro de 112 aeronaves, gerando um saldo de 472 unidades na frota brasileira de Aviação Geral. The Brazilian general aviation fleet in 2014 totaled 15,120 aircraft, a 3.2% increase from the prior year. In the last decade, nearly 5,000 aircraft were added, that is, a percentage increase of 45.5%. The 3.2% growth of is due to the addition of 584 aircraft in the fleet: 184 new, 398 used and 2 with use category modified; also the registrations of 112 aircraft were canceled, yielding a net change of 472 units in the Brazilian General Aviation fleet.

A frota da Aviação Geral no ano de 2014 foi avaliada em US$ 12,7 bilhões, um crescimento de 3,1% em comparação com o ano anterior. Aviões com dois motores turbo-jato têm a maior participação no valor, 35%. A classe, porém, que teve a maior variação percentual em relação a 2013 foi a de aviões com três motores turbo-jato. DISTRIBUIÇÃO DA FROTA NOS ESTADOS DISTRIBUTION OF THE FLEET BY STATE A maior concentração de aeronaves está na região sudeste e centro-oeste do país. O estado de São Paulo retém 27% de toda a frota e teve 62 aeronaves adicionadas ao saldo total este ano. Os maiores crescimentos percentuais, porém, ocorreram nos estados do Espírito Santo (23%) e Paraíba (11%). CATEGORIAS DE UTILIZAÇÃO USAGE CATEGORIES As aeronaves da AG são categorizadas de acordo com suas atividades fim. Elas podem ser de serviços especializados, como Instrução (PRI), Táxi-Aéreo (TPX) e Agrícola (S05), ou em benefício do próprio operador, os Serviços Aéreos Privados (TPP). Em 2014, a categoria que mais cresceu percentualmente foi a de Instrução, com 96 novas aeronaves, mas foi Serviço Aéreo Privado que teve o maior aumento numérico, 353. Já a categoria de Táxi-Aéreo foi a única que nos últimos 2 anos obteve uma diminuição da frota, com uma queda total de 2,3%. TIPOS DE AERONAVES AIRCRAFT TYPES No ano de 2014, a frota de Anfíbios foi a que mais cresceu percentualmente. Em relação ao ano anterior, as frotas de Helicópteros, Turboélices e Jatos tiveram um percentual menor de crescimento, chegando a cair pela metade no caso de Helicópteros. IDADE DA FROTA AGE OF THE FLEET A idade da frota é definida de acordo com a data de fabricação das aeronaves. Atualmente, a frota brasileira de Aviação Geral possui uma média de idade de 20 anos, sendo Helicópteros a frota mais jovem, com uma idade média de 13 anos e Aviões Convencionais a mais velha com uma idade média de 31 anos. FABRICANTES DA FROTA BRASILEIRA MANUFACTURERS OF THE BRAZILIAN FLEET A frota de 2014 da Aviação Geral é representada por 115 fabricantes, 2 a mais que em 2013. As cinco maiores representantes em número de aeronaves em 2013 mantiveram-se em 2014, sendo a Neiva a única a ter decréscimo na frota. Em termos gerais, foram 29 fabricantes com aumento na frota e 7 com redução de aeronaves. Quando observadas as 20 empresas com maior destaque no número de aeronaves em 2014, nota-se uma queda no crescimento médio, passando de 6% em 2013 para 4% em 2014. Apesar dessa redução no percentual médio de crescimento, a fabricante Cirrus Design obteve um aumento de 14%, com 42 aeronaves incorporadas à frota de 2014. Outra empresa que se sobressaiu foi a Eurocopter, com incremento de 7% na frota, quase o dobro do crescimento do ano anterior. REGIÃO NORDESTE NORTHEAST REGION A frota da região nordeste apresentou um crescimento de 2,7%, correspondendo a 35 aeronaves. O estado do Maranhão se destacou pelo aumento da frota em 17 aeronaves, representando aproximadamente 50% do aumento de toda a região. REGIÃO CENTRO-OESTE CENTRAL-WEST REGION A região centro-oeste foi a que mais cresceu em termos de frota, com 166 aeronaves adicionadas em 2014. Ela mantém-se como sendo a segunda região mais importante do país para a Aviação Geral, pois 22% da frota brasileira está nesta região. It remains the second most important region in the country for general aviation, as 22% of the Brazilian fleet is in this region.
CATEGORIA DE UTILIZAÇÃO USAGE CATEGORY A categoria de Instrução foi a que obteve maior aumento percentual na região, 17%. Este aumento vem se mantendo na região desde 2012. Apesar deste aumento em Instrução, a frota de Serviço Aéreo Privado tem maior representatividade na região, com 73% do total, sendo maioritário principalmente nos estados de Mato Grosso e Goiás. REGIÃO SUDESTE SOUTHEAST REGION A região sudeste é a mais volumosa em relação à frota da Aviação Geral, representando 42% do total da frota de 2014 e com um crescimento de 1,8%. O estado do Espírito Santo obteve o maior crescimento dentre todos os estados brasileiros, 23,3%, porém, o estado de São Paulo foi o que mais adicionou aeronaves na região sudeste (62). The Southeast region has the most voluminous general aviation fleet, representing 42% of the total 2014 fleet and with growth of 1,8%. The state of the Espirito Santo had the highest percentage growth among all Brazilian states, 23.3%, however, the state of São Paulo added the most aircraft in the Southeast region (62).
CATEGORIA DE UTILIZAÇÃO USAGE CATEGORY A categoria de Aeronaves Agrícolas obteve um acréscimo percentual de 5%, com 13 aeronaves adicionadas. A categoria de Táxi-Aéreo caiu pelo segundo ano seguido na região. The category of Agricultural Aircraft had a percentage increase of 5%, with 13 aircraft added. A frota de Jatos foi a que mais cresceu percentualmente em 2014, com um aumento de 3% em relação ao ano anterior. Já a frota de Aviões Convencionais, adicionou mais aeronaves à região, com 82 novas unidades registradas. A região sul é a terceira região com a maior frota do país e a primeira com maior crescimento em 2014 (5,5%). O estado do Paraná foi o 2º maior estado em adição de unidades à frota, com 65 novas aeronaves que representam 53% do crescimento da região. The Southern region is the region with the country’s third largest fleet, and is the first fastest growing in 2014 (5,5%). The state of Paraná was the the second state in additions to the fleet with 65 new aircraft representing 53% of the region’s growth.

IDADE DA FROTA DE AVIÕES CONVENCIONAIS AGE OF THE CONVENTIONAL AIRCRAFT FLEET Em relação à idade da frota de aviões convencionais, o maior aumento foi das aeronaves entre 11 e 15 anos de idade (18%). Apesar deste crescimento, as aeronaves com mais de 30 anos representam 48% da frota, refletindo na idade média, que atualmente é de 31 anos, a maior dentre os tipos de aeronaves. A frota de Táxi-Aéreo é a única representada em sua maioria por aviões bimotores (52%). As demais possuem maior participação de monomotores em sua composição. Além disto, Táxi-Aéreo foi a única categoria com diminuição de sua frota em relação ao ano anterior, com redução de 3% para monomotor e 5% para bimotor. The Air Taxi fleet is the only category mostly composed of twin-engine airplanes (52%). The remaining categories have a greater participation of single engine craft. In addition, Air Taxi was the only category to decrease its fleet over the previous year with, a decrease of 3% for single-engine and 5% for twin-engine.

A MOVIMENTAÇÃO NOS PRINCIPAIS AEROPORTOS DO BRASIL MOVEMENTS AT BRAZIL’S MAJOR AIRPORTS No ano de 2014, a Aviação Geral realizou 686 mil operações, uma queda de 7% em relação a 2013. Apesar da redução de operações, no ano passado a Aviação Geral conectou mais de 3,5 mil aeródromos nacionais e internacionais. In 2014, General Aviation performed 686,000 operations, a decrease of 7% compared to 2013. Despite the reduction in operations, last year General Aviation connected more than 3,500 domestic and international airports.

Considering the movements (landing + takeoff) at 33 brazilian airports, the profile of the flights can be portrayed according to aircraft type and usage category.
VOOS POR CATEGORIA DE UTILIZAÇÃO FLIGHTS BY USAGE CATEGORY Em 2014, a categoria de Serviço Aéreo Privado, que por sua vez representa 47% da frota da AG, foi a única categoria com aumento no número de voos. Já pelo segundo ano seguido, os voos de instrução apresentam a maior redução de operações. Foram quase 32 mil voos a menos nesta categoria. In 2014, the Private Air Service category, which represents 47% of the GA fleet, was the only category with an increase in the number of flights. And for the second year in a row flight instruction presents the greatest reduction in operations. There were almost 32,000 fewer flights in this category.

VOOS POR TIPO DE AERONAVE FLIGHTS BY AIRCRAFT TYPE Em relação ao tipo de aeronave, Jatos e Anfíbios apresentaram crescimento na movimentação. Porém o número de operações não foi expressivo para compensar a grande redução no caso de Helicópteros. Esta queda registrou 38 mil voos a menos que o ano anterior. Regarding the type of aircraft, jets and amphibious planes showed increased movements, but the number of operations was not enough to offset the large reduction in helicopter operations.
