DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST WEDNESDAY 29TH JUNE – SATURDAY 2ND JULY, 7.30PM ADULTS £12/ CHILDREN £8 PRINCESS ALEXANDRA AUDITORIUM Join us to experience this “tale as old as time”, performed by pupils and students of Yarm School. Step into the enchanted world of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. This international sensation has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. This production is a theatrical experience featuring all the very best songs from the most creative musical decade of all time! Be prepared to sing and dance along to some of your favourite tracks from the likes of The Kinks, The Who, The Beach Boys, Lulu, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Spencer Davis Group plus many, many more.
