About Designer The story of fashion designer Belinda Kazanci begins in Istanbul, Turkey where she was always surrounded by a family of designers and seamstresses. Both sets of grandparents owned textile shops filled with the most beautiful traditional Turkish textiles. Varieties of fabrics were always lying around the house ready to be used for the next creation. She remembers being fascinated watching her Grandmother dye fabrics using traditional methods and natural dyes from henna, onion peels and beets.
Bel Kazan boutique is located in the heart of the most fashionable area in Bali. The space features a variety of dresses, tunics, handbags and accessories from Belinda Kazanci's newest designer line Bel Kazan. All of the garments are handmade in Bali with extreme attention to detail, fit and quality. Kazanci's original line gadogado by Bel Kazan, is a line of contemporary styles with original prints, unique detailing and versatile pieces. The fit is universally flattering and modernly feminine, yet edgy. The International location of its boutique pays tribute to the inspiration and influence of the Balinese culture upon its collection. Furthermore, gadogado by Bel Kazan is in the process of collaborating with a non-profit organization to create a "Fashion to Empower" lifestyle in providing loans to women in third world countries to start their own businesses and become self-sufficient.

As a little girl growing up in Istanbul, her daily outings included the mysteries of the Grand Bazaar filled with embroidered goods, kilims, traditional Turkish hand-painted ceramics, and colorful jewelry. The colors and textures of the Bazaar still inspire her work today. Moreover, as the lead singer for the band Echocell, she has always been interested in expressing herself through music as well as fashion, on stage. Kazanci officially started her first clothing line, gadogado by Bel Kazan, in 2002 on the magical island of Bali. After successfully building her own fashion line for only a few years, she decided to develop the new line Bel Kazan with the opening of her showroom and boutique in the heart of Seminyak, Bali. Furthermore, Kazanci has recently introduced her stunning signature pieces in the United States.
