Float or sink? James and his friends cross the Atlantic Ocean inside a peach. The peach floats across the ocean on a wonderful and marvelous journey. Form 4 students integrated science and literature by using the scientific method to study the buoyancy of different objects. Experiment 1: Our hypothesis: Heavy objects will sink and those that are light will float. Materials: ● Bowl or jar and water ● Different objects Procedure: ● Fill the bowl or jar with water. ● Slowly introduce different objects and observe whether they sink or float. ● Record observations in the observation chart:
