The Bamboo Pavilion
This bamboo project was completed over the course of one week in a summer studio. Our aim was to create a basic modular structure to store rainwater for reuse while also providing shading to enhance leisure activities. Finally, we conducted a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to determine the Global Warming Potential (GWP) and quantify the embodied carbon emissions of the project.

The Desert School
Program: Elementary School, Adobebrick
Site: Arizona, AZ
A K-6 school in Phoenix, AZ featuring natural ventilation. Our objective is to address overheating issues through sustainable design strategies. We employ various tools to assess ventilation, daylighting, and radiation conditions within the school, aiming to optimize its design.
