PING Update #2 February 2025

Welcome to PING , the new monthly update from the team at wyldNetworks

2025: ACHIEVING TRUE GLOBAL SCALE

Expanding deployments and production to kick off the year

Welcome to our second edition of PING . We hope that you got some useful insights and information from our first edition in January — we think you will enjoy this update, as since that first issue, a lot of exciting things have happened.

Having moved to the S-Band and L-Band spectrum, we have been really busy getting approvals from regulators so we have the right to operate in new countries. So far we have received approval for either the L or S-Band in 75 countries around the world (see our evolving map on page 6). Prior to these approvals, we had been operating with temporary licenses which restricted the amount of equipment that can be deployed. We are working hard to realise permits for the key territory of the United States, which is anticipated to make up 30% of the USD $15.5 Billion IoT market by 2032.

We have been ramping up our production capabilities to deliver S and L-band terminals — and have the capability to deliver in volume from a manufacturing perspective — but now with the licenses to deploy in volume in those countries. This, coupled with a recent 5 million SEK R&D investment from the British Government, a cash amount to be paid in Q2 2025, means this year is already shaping up to be a very exciting time (see both stories on page 9).

We hope you enjoy this months updates…

(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas)

Wyld Networks satellite IoT solutions are making a difference in the Amazonian rain forest.

The Amazonas State University (Portuguese: Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, UEA) is a Brazilian public university operated by the state of Amazonas, located in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. It was established in 2001 by a state law that turned the University of Technology of Amazonas (Universidade de Tecnologia do Amazonas) into the UEA. In 2011, UEA was ranked the best university of the state in an evaluation made by the Ministry of Education.

UEA is currently deploying Wyld Networks satellite IoT solutions to collect data from the Amazonian rain forest. Furthermore, it is currently bidding for government funding to acquire 2000 Wyld satellite IoT terminals to collect even more data around the impact of weather on the health of this crucial global eco-system.

NEWS: Recent Deployments

Cranfield Centre for Agricultural Innovation

In 2013, the UK Government launched its Agricultural technologies strategy. As part of this commitment, there was significant investment by the UK Government and Cranfield University in two new Centres for Agricultural Innovation — totalling £10m.

The facilities now combine Wyld’s technology into its development capabilities

in agriculture across multiple configurations, collecting data around the key factors in this global field.

in soil management and conservation — with a world renowned reputation in soil informatics and resource evaluation.

Cranfield has the largest concentration of soil, crop and water management scientists in the UK, and its expertise spans way beyond basic soil physics, chemistry and biology. It is a leading voice

The centre is deploying Wyld Networks satellite IoT solutions to collect the data that powers its trusted research in modern global agriculture.

This licence permits the Company to provide commercial satellite and terrestrial IoT data services in Brazil commencing 15th January 2025.

RESEARCH & PRODUCTION ROUNDUP

The transition to large scale volume production means we can address the needs of customers — and begin to significantly clear our order book backlog”

Scaling production to satisfy demand

Wyld Networks successfully completed its first large scale, commercial volume production of satellite IoT terminals in L-Band and S-Band with the initial delivery scheduled to EAT in Peru this month.

The transition to large scale volume production means we can address the needs of our customers — and begin to significantly clear our order book backlog.

As announced last year, Wyld has moved from using the ISM-band satellite spectrum, to the L-band and S-band.

This development successfully passed pilots and proof of concept with customers, ensuring they have an even better first class service and satellite coverage from our products.

Significant R&D funds reflect innovation

Wyld Networks will receive in cash approximately 5 million SEK by the British Government to be received in Q2 2025 for Research and Development activities conducted in 2024.

“This award reflects the strong endeavours undertaken by Wyld Networks in its development of cutting edge technology” said Gene Myers CTO of Wyld Networks.

“Our solution is unique in its ability to operate as a highly scalable, multi-service and multi-operator solution for satellite IoT connectivity”
