PING Update #1 January 2025
Welcome to PING , the new monthly update from the team at wyldNetworks
The commercial impact of moving from ISM, to L-band Last year was pivotal for wyldNetworks , as we transitioned to L-band satellite connectivity, addressing the lack of coverage from our existing ISM-band satellite providers, which had delayed our product roll outs throughout the year.
We have completed all the development and engineering work in L-band, and now have started the shipping of L-band satellite product to our customers.
This shift to L-band not only addressed the problem of lack of satellite coverage, but also expanded our capabilities to offer our customers a higher bandwidth for their IoT devices and sensors.
We look forward to a great 2025 and wish to thank all our partners, customers and shareholders for your continued support…

The Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) is an executive agency of the UK’s Ministry of Defense. Its stated purpose is to maximise the impact of science and technology for the UK’s defense and security. This entity’s ministerial responsibility lies with the Minister of State for Defence Procurement and Industry.
Wyld is making an initial shipment to DSTL this month, which will be deployed for use in both asset tracking — and data collection.
With headquarters in both the Netherlands and Israel, Hazera operates subsidiaries in 11 countries, together with a distribution network serving over 130 markets. It is part of the Limagrain Group in France, the largest seed company in Europe. Our initial shipment, commencing in January, is for deployment in South Africa where it will be used to collect data from soil moisture sensors.
Getting useful data from remote locations, reliably and cheaply, is a challenge for many businesses. Discover how using our connectivity solutions is helping our customers provide 100% effective global coverage for their company.

Our ever expanding networks
Based in Lima, our customer EAT is using the wyldNetworks satellite IoT system to collect data from remote electricity meters. Peru suffers from very poor terrestrial network coverage, but by using wyldNetworks, EAT can ensure accurate billing records are kept for all their customer locations.
This partnership’s success and resulting demand for expansion, has meant we were able to make further equipment shipments at the beginning of the year.
KWS uses the our satellite IoT solution to collect soil health data — and in particular, data regarding its water content, to ensuring the optimization of KWS’ irrigation systems, reducing waste and increasing crop yield. Over 70% of the worlds fresh water is used in agriculture, with 30% of that being lost to wastage. In partnership with KWS, we have helped reduce this loss by over 25%, thus maximising resources and increasing sustainability.
“WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS” EAT’s CEO & Co-Founder, Jorge Benavides Aspiazu, talks about how wyldNetworks has helped them expand their data reach and improve their offering to their customer base, overcoming the challenge of poor terrestrial connectivity in Peru. PLAY VIDEO
GLOBAL ROUNDUP: recent regional deployments
Australia has 387 million hectares of agricultural land, generating annual revenues of US$ 155 billion, roughly 12% of the country’s GDP.
Water is a precious commodity and wyldNetworks satellite IoT is helping its Australia-based customers the ability to collect crucial data about factors such as soil moisture data and tank level monitoring.

Agriculture is historically one of the principal drivers of Brazil’s economy. As of 2024, the country is the second biggest grain exporter in the world — with 19% of the international market share, making them the world’s fourth largest grain producer.
Agriculture revenues represent about 26%of the countries GDP.
Priner is a Brazilian industrial conglomerate in the petrolchemical, industrial and maintenance services sector.
The Brazilian Agriculture Corporation is a stateowned corporation, affiliated with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture.
It deploys Wyld satellite IoT solutions to track its numerous containers across land and sea. The Priner deployment is the first application of the new Wyld satellite asset tracking device.
Deploying Wyld Networks satellite IoT solution to collect data from its soil moisture sensors, OlhoSoLo is partnering with Wyld to optimise its intelligent irrigation systems to reduce water wastage.
Embrapa is using Wyld satellite IoT technology to collect weather information and soil moisture data from remote areas.
Brazil is responsible for the supply of approximately 90% of the worlds organic honey with over 2 million beehives.
GeoApis markets a well established and widely deployed software solution in Brazil for the managment of beehives.
GeoApis offers its customers Wyld’s satellite IoT solution to integrate into beehives to collect data to power the GeoApis application.

L-band refers to a segment of the radio spectrum within the 1 to 2 GHz range. This frequency band is often used for satellite communications due to its ability to penetrate through clouds, rain, and vegetation, making it reliable for IoT applications.
1. Data Collection: The tracker collects GPS data and sensor readings
2. Transmission: The data is transmitted using L-band frequencies
3. Satellite Reception: LEO satellites equipped to receive L-band signals capture the transmitted data
4. Ground Station reception: The satellites relay the data to ground stations
5. Network Management: GPS Satellite Trackers are onboarded to the Wyld Fusion network management platform where data is received, monitored, visualised and charged
6. Data Analysis: Data is passed to customer end applications for data analysis
Wyld’s new satellite tracker for GPS enables low power GPS data to be delivered to the cloud via low Earth orbiting (LEO) satellites.
