Improve your strength and overall movement in this program designed for participants 50+. Enjoy a variety of cardio and strength building exercises using little to no equipment and finish with some light stretching. All fitness levels welcome, no experience necessary.

Group Weight Room Orientation

Age 16+

Learn the basics of using the weight room equipment available at SEAPARC Leisure Complex. Orientations are taught by Personal Trainers or Registered Fitness Leaders with Weight Training specialty.

Strength & Sculpt

Age 16+

Enjoy a guided small group workout in the weight room with strength in mind. Using a variety of equipment, participants will be taught proper exercise techniques, training principles and exercise application. Each class will have a set program design and modifications will be made for each exercise provided based on strength, mobility and experience.

Intro to Mountain Biking

Age 19+

You’ve got a bike, helmet, and you have bashed around the trails a few times. Now what? Intro to Mountain Biking is where you learn the basic techniques of mountain biking and build confidence in a safe environment. Headed by the Sooke Bike Club, this course will include bike setup, riding position, climbing, braking and gear shifting techniques, trail awareness, and line selection. * Bring your own mountain bike and helmet. Meet at Harbourview Parking Lot.
