When taking part in one of our courses you will be asked to fill out a task assessment sheet that will include the work you did during the workshop, a follow up activity and a reflection on the work. Submission of work

You will be given a task assessment sheet by your tutor which will outline the work required by the unit and any planning or reflection necessary. Complete the task and fill out the sheet and return it to your tutor. They will then assess the work. If you have not fulfilled all the unit requirements the work will be returned to you with feedback so you can make the required changes and resubmit the work to your tutor. The work will either be given a pass or fail mark, there are no other grade boundaries. If you complete all the unit requirements, you will gain an OCN Level 2 unit qualification

Assessment procedure

Once you have submitted your work to your tutor they will assess and give feedback on your work. This will then be passed to our Internal Moderator who will check the work has been appropriately assessed in line with OCNs criteria. We will return the work and feedback to you within 28 working days. The work will then be sent to OCN for verification and certification.
