INSPIRED BY A POPULAR tale based on mysterious events that, as history has it, took place in the Middle Ages, the legend of the Pied Piper has endured over the centuries. The different literary versions that have sprung up every so often, are now joined by a porcelain version crafted by Lladró. This exclusive piece for Privilege Gold members continues the Classic Children’s Tales Collection. In order to give life to this Pied Piper, the company’s artists have returned to Lladró’s most familiar style. That’s how a glazed porcelain piece, that combines stylized forms and soft colors, is born. This creation is full of tiny details, such as the flowers and mice, and it is a great addition to the existing pieces that constitute the collection, Alice in Wonderland and Little tin soldier, that you can see on page 39.
