EVENTS Sculptors demonstrate their talent IGNACIO ALIENA flew to Japan to give a series of live demonstrations of his work as a sculptor. Starting in October, the tour took him to the stores of the Takashimaya chain in Nagoya, Kyoto, Yokohama and Matsuyama, the Yamagataya department store in Kagoshima and the Lladró boutique in Ginza. He modeled Snow White's wishing well, one of the most popular pieces among the Japanese public. In December, he travelled to Seoul to take part at various events together with Ángeles Lladró.

JOSÉ SANTAEULALIA visited the USA last October to attend several events across the country. He started on the West Coast in Pasadena and the Lladró boutique in Beverly Hills, from there he travelled to Texas before ending his tour with various events in New York. During his trip, José worked on a smaller version of Santa, I've been good!, in order to be able to finalize the modeling of the piece in the time allotted to each event. The many guests attending these live demonstrations were absolutely delighted to view the process of creation of one of the season's standout pieces.

Our flower artists live LAST SEPTEMBER, María José Bustos began an extensive tour that took her to several countries in Asia and Oceania. She started out in the Philippines, then continued to Shanghai and Hong Kong. She then flew to Australia, before concluding in Auckland, New Zealand. Meanwhile, María José Solera visited Japan, also in September, to give live demonstrations in various stores in the Takashimaya chain in Tokyo and at the Lladró boutique in Ginza.

Raúl Rubio travelled to Turkey last November to give modeling demonstrations in the country's two biggest cities, Ankara and Istanbul. The Turkish public was really excited to see for themselves how an artist from The City of Porcelain actually works and to be able to watch him model a piece in the same way as he would do in his workshop. Many of the people who attended the event took advantage of the first-time visit by a Lladró sculptor to Turkey to chat with him and exchange views on their favorite pieces.

From the Philippines to New Zealand, María José Bustos travelled thousands of miles to model her flowers for an enthusiastic audience.
