The new Canterbury Cancer Centre is due to open its doors in August 2023 and will be the first of its kind, providing integrated cancer support for patients from across the South Island Te Wai Pounamu.
The new and innovative building design will include the largest accommodation facility for cancer patients in the South Island Te Wai Pounamu, and a new cancer hub to ensure our local Canterbury patients have a dedicated place of support.
The Cancer Society’s Canterbury-West Coast Division is funding the new $22m facility with the help of the community.
