Work description
Project Fellow(01) Master’s degree in Environmental Science /Life Sciences/ Forest management/Economics with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized University.with one year experience. Experience of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) / Participatory Natural Resources Management Planning Experience in drafting Ecological and Social Management Plans (ESMP),Ecological Monitoring, Camera Trapping Conduct a rapid social-economic survey in the project site and prepare a robust ecological and social management system (ESMS) in line with IUCN-KFW standards. Design and conduct field surveys, data collection, and analysis and preparation of ESMS. Conduct focus group interviews and in consultation with target local communities, facilitates training in a suite of feasible, economically viable livelihood opportunities for communities impact by the project and prepare technical reports. Provide logistical support to Project Manager to support training programme on skill development for local community members. Support the biological monitoring team to conduct tiger, prey and habitat monitoring work as needed.
