Job Summary- The Dietary Lab Supervisor will coordinate and supervise all field lab activities related to the processing of duplicate diet composites in the first phase of a research study regarding multiply-fortified salt among women of reproductive age in rural Punjab . Note: - Candidate having strong experience inFood and Nutrition-related Laboratory work and handling of food samples will be preferred. Candidate should be comfortable working long hours in rural field settings. Key Responsibilities:

Assists the Research Coordinator in the successful coordination, implementation and monitoring of activities related to the processing of duplicate diet samples. This also involves working closely with the Dietary Supervisor for coordination of activities. Perform timely and regular maintenance of laboratory equipment by inspecting, calibrating, cleaning, acid washin g or sterilizing. Procurement of lab supplies - He/she will coordinate and supervise the activities of the Dietary Lab Investigator. - He/she will be responsible for timely and accurate completion of processing, aliquoting, and storage of duplicate diet samples. Should fully coordinate with Dietary Supervisor and Lab Supervisor for smooth handling of the field activities . - Plan and supervise lab related activities in the field/ lab and provide technical support to lab staff; - He/she will be responsible for proper record keeping and compilation of alldietary lab related activities; -.
