WALK-IN-INTERVIEW Walk-in-interview for the Senior Research Fellow (`Rs25000 + 30% HRA) under PPV &FRA funded Project entitled ‘Formulation and validation of DUS testing guidelines for lemon (Citrus limon L. Burm.) and Pummelo (Citrus grandis)’ will be held on 6th September, 2018 at 10.00 AM in the Division of FHT, IARI, New Delhi. Details of the post are as below:

Essential qualifications

Desirable qualification

Master degree in Experience in Agriculture/Horticulture/fruit fruit crops science/Life Sciences with 4 /5 years of Bachelor’s degree.

Candidate having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have qualified NET as per ICAR No. Edn/6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015.

Terms and Conditions: 1. Age limit: Maximum age 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per ICAR guidelines on the date of interview).

2. The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period till March 2019 which may be extended periodically subject to satisfactorily performance or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this Institute/ICAR, as the positions are co-terminus with respective Project.

3. At the time of interview, the candidates are required to submit five copies of the filled in application form (as per the format annexed) and one set of self-attested copies of the proof of all educational qualification from 10th onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate if applicable, degree certificates. Proof of experience and publications also need to

be submitted. Candidates should bring their all original documents at the time of interview, else his/her candidature will be rejected out rightly 4. The Interview of eligible candidates for SRF will be held in the Division of Fruits and Horticultural Technology, IARI, Pusa Campus New Delhi on 6th September, 2018 at 10.00 A.M.

5. Interested candidates should report at 9.30 AM in Lecture Hall, Division of Fruits and Horticultural Technology, IARI, New Delhi – 12.

6. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

7. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.

8. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

9. The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach The PI, Division of Fruits and Hort. Tech., ICAR-IARI New Delhi. If on the date of interview such declaration is not furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.

10. A panel will be created to keep candidates in waiting list and will be valid for six months from the date of declaration of result.
