NOTIFICATION An Online/Walk-in-interview of eligible Indian citizens for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an SERB, Government of India sponsored project in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur 713 209, West Bengal will be held as per the details mentioned below: 1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 2. Title of the Project: “Investigation of corrosion inhibition properties of newly synthesized green corrosion inhibitors against mild steel in acidic medium” 3. Funding Agency: Science and engineering Research Board (A statutory body of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India)
4. Duration of the fellowship: 1year and 3months 5. Fellowship: (i) Rs 31000/- per month for the fellowship period 6. Qualification: candidate who have a post graduate degree in Chemistry and who have qualified through a process described through any one of the following can apply: (a) Selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE (b) Selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, ISER etc. 7. Nature of the post: The post is temporary and the candidates will not have any claim for any position in the institute on the basis of this.
