Senior Research Fellow (1) Ornithology Rs. 28,000, Health and accident insurance policy and basic accommodation facility on sharing basis. Initially for three years (performance based). Purely on contractual basis 1. Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/ Marine Biology/Life Sciences/Biodiversity and Conservation/ Environmental Science, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university. 2. Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience and demonstrated excellence in research and publications. 3. Candidates will be preferred having sound knowledge of bird community/ecological studies, statistic and GIS tools and scientific writing. 4. Candidate wish to register for Ph. D. must have cleared PET from University of Mumbai in Zoology. 1. Experience/interest in intensive field data collection on birds 2. knowledge of statistics/relevant software and assessment methods 3. Good writing and communication skills. 1. Surveys and data collections /analysis for birds 2. Report writing 35 years or below Selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai and need to undertake fieldwork around Navi Mumbai.
