PANT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HIMALAYAN ENVIRONMENT KOSI-KATARMAL, ALMORA 263643 (UTTARAKHAND) Applications are invited in the prescribed format for purely project based temporary position of ‘Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow’ under ‘Himalayan Alpine Biodiversity Characterization and Information System-Network (NMHS-IIRS)’ project at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. Candidate having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience may send their CV in prescribed format with all supporting documents to the undersigned by e-mail (os@gbpihed.nic.in) on or before 05 June, 2020. Desired Qualification Junior Research First class M.Sc. in Knowledge of Fellow/Junior Project Botany/Forestry/Ecology/ plant taxonomy Fellow (JRF/JPF 01) Environmental Science and application OR of RS & GIS in Rs. 31,000 + HRA per M.Sc. in Remote Sensing forestry and month as per institute & GIS or equivalent with ecology norms (for NET qualified) dissertation in and Forestry/Ecology. Rs. 20,000 + HRA per month as per institute norms (Non-NET)

Nature of duties Undertake intensive field survey in Alpine regions of Uttarakhand Data compilation, synthesis, analysis and preparation of reports

Age limit: 28 years* *Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms
