A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 23 rd July, 2018 at 12.00 noon in the Seminar Room, Main Campus, Bose Institute, 93/1, Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata – 700 009 for one position of Research Associate in the CSIR sponsored project entitled, “Deciphering the in-planta secretome of Rhizoctonia solani AG1-1A during infection of rice” under the guidance of Prof. Swati Gupta Bhattacharya, P.I., Ex. Sr. Professor, and Dr. Anupama Ghosh, CoP.I., Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 31.07.2020. Details of qualification, associateship, age etc. are as follows : Essential Qualification : A good M.Sc. degree followed by a Ph.D. degree in Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology/Physiology/Biotechnology. Desirable Qualification : Candidates having previous experience in working with plant microbe Interaction will be preferred. Associateship : Rs.36,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical Benefit. Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only, as per rule.)
Eligible and Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with a typed application addressed to the Acting Registrar, Bose Institute, P-1/12 C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification and stating the area of research experience with copies of mark sheets, certificates, reprints of publications and one page summary of thesis. The Candidates should also bring original marksheets, certificates and a copy of thesis. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the Interview.
