HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT GROUP COUNCIL OF SCIENTIFIC AND INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH EXAMINATION UNIT 20/07/2018 NOTICE It is brought to the notice of all concerned that the result of Dec-2017 JRF NET Exam declared on 09/05/2018 is subject to outcome of Letters Patent Appeal (LPA) No. 2243/2017 filed by CSIR in the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana against judgment in CWP 8015/2017 CSIR Vs. Ramandeep Kaur. The matter is still pending in the Hon’ble High court of Punjab and Haryana and has not attained finality, and hence, the issuance of formal certificate to qualified candidates is not legally tenable. However, in order to facilitate the admission/recruitment in respect of qualified candidates awaiting the issuance of formal qualifying certificates, the following clause is incorporated in existing marks statement in respect of qualified candidates: “pending the final outcome of the judgment of Hon’ble High court of Punjab and Haryana in LPA 2243/2017 and issuance of formal JRF/NET Qualifying Certificate, marks statement of the qualified candidates may be treated as proof of their qualifying the said exam provisionally subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per the notification” The qualified candidates can print and download their marks statement and no further authentication/attestation will be done by CSIR and no further representation will be entertained in this regard. It is further informed that current status of the LPA 2243/2017 filed by CSIR against the Judgment of Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana in CWP 8015/2017 CSIR Vs. Ramandeep Kaur is available on CSIR-HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in for information of concerned candidates.
