University of Calcutta Department of Biotechnology Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on Google Meet on 27th November at 11 AM 2020 for recruitment of one JRF for the project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Govt. of India titled “Investigating the role of endobacteria harboured within plant endophyte Rhodotorula mucilaginosa JGTA-S1 in a tripartite interaction that improves nitrogen nutrition in rice� (CRG/2019/000378) under Dr Anindita Seal, Department of Biotechnology and B. C Guha Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road Kolkata-700019, University of Calcutta.

Qualification required: First Class M. Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Microbiology with NET or GATE qualification. Preference will be given to candidates having previous experience in related fields of plant biology and molecular biology. The salary will be as per the rules of the funding agency and University of Calcutta.
