ABOUT JNUEE (JNU ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) - 2022 Admission to Ph.D. Programme offered by JNU is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Level Entrance Examination, which is known as the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) conducted by NTA. For Selection in Ph.D. through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, candidates are called for viva voce and final merit list is made with 70% weightage to CBT score and 30% weightage to viva voce. For details, JNU e-Prospectus 2022-23 available on the JNU website http://www.jnu.ac.in/sites/default/files/admission/e-Prospectus-PhD-DOP-2022-23.pdf may be referred to. National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) - 2022 for admission into the Ph.D. programmes/ courses for the academic session 2022-2023.
1.4. ROLE OF NTA The Role of NTA is confined to inviting online application, issue of Admit Card, conduct of the entrance test, hosting of answer keys, inviting challenges, processing of result based on final keys and providing the results to Jawaharlal Nehru University for further action at their end. Candidates are advised to refer to the E-Prospectus and the Admission Policy/Procedure hosted on the website of JNU, i.e. www.jnu.ac.in for further course of action with respect to their Admission. NTA will have no role in the selection process - transfer / cancellation/ conversion of seats etc. The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified by JNU at subsequent stages of the admission process.
Note: The letters/e-mails/grievances/queries/RTI applications/Court cases pertaining to admission related matters/procedures will not be entertained by NTA. The same may be addressed to the University.
