Insights into the mechanisms of Fe and Cd accumulation in rice: Prospecting towards Fe-enriched Cd-free rice Two years or extendable up to the duration of the project

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (One number) in the sanctioned project funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. The work description, qualification details and monthly emoluments of personal required is given below.

Position

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)* Rs. 31,000 + HRA per month fixed for two years. The amount of JRF will be as Emoluments per SERB norms Age Below 30 years Qualification M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Botany/Biotechnology/Life Sciences (candidate (Essential) who has qualified with NET/GATE/ICAR/UGC-CSIR will be preferred)* Qualification Candidates with working field experience in the soil and plant sampling & (Desirable) heavy metal analyses will be given preference * In the case of non NET or above mentioned National level exams, the emolument shall be Rs. 16,000/- + HRA per month Application on plain paper giving complete bio-data including phone number and e-mail ID with recent passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates/mark statements, previous work experience, publications to be sent to the Co-Principal Investigator in the following address by post and also email (thanvel@gmail.com) on or before 16th November, 2020.
