The appointment will be purely temporary under contractual and co- terminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for f i ve months or till the completion date of the project. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The candidates possessing required qualifications given below may appear before the selection committee at ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET), PO: PAU, Ludhiana141004 (Punjab).

Number of Post Essential Qualification for eligibility

One (01) Master degree in Food Technology / Food Science & Technology / Biochemistry/Processing and Food Engineering/ Food Engineering & Technology/ Agricultural Structures and Process Engineering or allied disciplines with 4 years / 5 years bachelor`s degree having Ist Division or 60% Marks or equivalent overall grade point average. Candidate having post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years bachelor`s degree and 2 years Master`s degree should have NET qualification.

Exposure to conducting basic studies on wheat flour. Knowledge of data analysis and statistical software’s.

Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month consolidated 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women

The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.

There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR/ CIPHET/ after completion of time bound project.

Place of work will be ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana.

No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post graduation / Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy of all relevant documents at the time of interview.

No objection certificate from the employer in case he / she is employed elsewhere.

Experience certificate in original (if any) No separate interview call will be issued to candidates.

All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.
