APPLICATION INVITED Application are invited for the post of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW for an DBT funded project titled “Community based study of Cryptosporidium species among patients with diarrhea and in drinking and recreational water sources from two geographic regions in India and their molecular characterisation” Department of Microbiology, JIPMER, Puducherry-605006. 

Educational qualification : M. Sc (Medical Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ MLT/Life Sciences/B. Tech (Biotechnology)/M. Tech(Biotechnology) from a recognized institute/board

 

Desirable Qualification: Desirable: Candidates with GATE/National Entrance Test (NET) qualification for JRF or equivalent qualification and/or experience in clinical research and hands-on experience in molecular techniques, human and environmental samples processing will be preferred.



Age Limit: 28 years. [Age relaxation for ST/SC/OBC candidates as per DBT guidelines]



Salary : Rs.25,000 per month (maybe increased as per DBT norms) Interested candidates can download the application form from the JIPMER website

and send the duly filled application form along with the necessary documents via post at the given address on or before 27-03-2019 at 4.30 p.m. The envelope should be labelled as “Application for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), DBT-Cryptosporidium Project”.  The Post is time bound for a period of 2 year (likely to continue beyond 2 years if satisfactory as SRF).  The last date of receipt of application form will be taken for calculation of age.

 Eligible candidates will be called for written test followed by interview.  Date and venue of interview will be intimated through e-mail only.  No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
