Applications are invited on prescribed format by Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, ESS-Sector, Itanagar from Indian citizens for the following posts under the project “Centre for Bioresources and Sustainable Development (Centre of Excellence)” sanctioned by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The posts are purely temporary in nature and coterminus with the project.

Scientist / Engineer-‘C’ Essential Qualifications: First Class Bachelor’s 1(One) (Electronics & Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics Instrumentation) and Instrumentation from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications: Master of Engineering or Technology in the field of Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized University Experience: Minimum of 5 (five) years of working /research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualifications as above.

Scientist -‘B’ (Botany/Plant Biotech.)

Essential Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree in Botany with specialization in Ethnobotany/Phyto-chemistry from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications: Doctorate of Philosophy in Botany, with specialization in Ethnobotany / Phyto-chemistry from a recognized University.

Experience: Minimum of two years of working / research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualifications as above.

Scientist-`B` (Biotech.)

Essential Qualifications: First Class Master of Science (M.Sc./M. Tech.) Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology /Genetics with specialization in drug discovery and development from natural resources.

Desirable Qualifications: Doctorate of Philosophy in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.

Experience: Minimum of two years of working / research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualifications as above.

Scientist-`B` (Molecular Biotech.)

Essential Qualifications: First Class Master’s Degree or Master of Technology in Biotechnology with specialization in Molecular Biotech. from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications: Doctorate of Philosophy in Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Experience: Minimum of two years of working / research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualifications as above.

Scientist-‘B` (Microbial Biotech.)

Essential Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree or Master of Technology in Biotechnology with specialization in Microbial Biotech. from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum of two years of working / research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualification as above.

6.

Scientist- `B` (Bioinformatics)

Essential qualification: First Class Master’s of Science Degree from a recognized university, with Bioinformatics as the Major subject.

Experience: Minimum of two years of working / research experience in the relevant field after possessing essential qualifications as above.

7.

Research Associate

Essential: M. Sc. /M. Tech. / Ph. D or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotech./Life Science / Food Technology/ Environmental Biotech.

2 (Two)

Desirable: 1-2 years working experience as JRF/SRF in Biotech. Research and Development Projects.

Terms and Conditions: 1. Emoluments:

Monthly Emoluments will be admissible at par with the sanction accorded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi for each post. (a) Scientist-‘C’

Rs. 36,000/- PM + 10% HRA

Maximum 40 years, Relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of ST/SC Candidates.

(b) Scientist-`B`:

Maximum 35 years, Relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of ST/SC candidates.

(c) Research Associate: Maximum 30 Years 3.

Place of posting will be Centre for Bioresources and Sustainable Development (Centre of Excellence) at Kimin, Papum Pare District.

4. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

5. Candidates are required to bring the relevant certificates, mark sheets etc. in original along with full bio-data and produce it at the time interview.

6. Attested copies of certificates and mark sheets, experience certificates etc. from SSLC onwards are to be enclosed affixing a recent passport size photograph on the top of the application.

7. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and there is no provision of providing official accommodation at Kimin to the candidates appointed.

8. The APSCS&T reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof.

9. Eligible candidates will be called for Walk-in-Interview for which date will be intimated separately by this office.
